Festive Credit Card Cashback Offer – Terms and conditions

  1. Definitions
    1. Bank: Standard Chartered Bank in India.
    2. Offer: The Offer means “Get 5X reward points (up to 10,000 reward points) on using your Standard Chartered Credit Card to make purchase of goods and services ONLINE on various merchant websites and/or applications as per the below spend slab”.
      ONLINE SPEND SLAB REWARDS
      INR 10,000 to INR 25,000 5X reward points max upto 1500
      INR 25,001 to INR 50,000 5X reward points max upto 5000
      Above INR 50,000 5X reward points max upto 10,000
    3. Offer Period: The Offer Period shall commence from 00:01 hours on 24 Sep 2022 and shall extend upto 23:59 hours on 30 Sep 2022.
    4. Qualified Client: The Offer is open to resident Standard Chartered Credit Card holders who meet the eligibility criteria (excluding Standard Chartered Ultimate, Landmark rewards, Emirates, Digismart & Smart Credit Cards).
    5. NRE and NRO cardholders will not be eligible for this Offer.
  1. Offer Details
    1. Customer has to transact Online using his/her Standard Chartered Credit Card during the Offer period.
    2. Customer would be eligible for 5X reward points (max up to 10,000 reward points) on fulfilment of the Offer eligibility criteria.
    3. The 5X reward points will be calculated on the existing card features – Illustration:

      1 reward point per INR 150 5 reward points per INR 150

    4. Maximum reward points per customer would be 10,000 reward points during the Offer period.
    5. Total online spends below INR 10,000 will not be eligible for the Offer.
    6. This Offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer/promotion of Standard Chartered Bank. If a client is eligible for multiple offers, maximum benefit from either of the offer will be rewarded to the customer.
    7. In the event, if a cardholder has multiple credit cards, online transactions across all the cards will be considered for the Offer. (excluding Standard Chartered Ultimate, Landmark rewards, Emirates, Digismart & Smart Credit Cards).
    8. This Offer is not applicable on transactions on Standard Chartered Ultimate, Landmark rewards, Emirates, Digismart & Smart Credit Cards.
    9. Offline transactions & cash withdrawals will not be considered as an eligible transaction for rewards calculation as part of this Offer.
    10. Any transaction made during Offer period for making payment towards Tax, Investments, Wallet transactions, Insurance, Government, Rental payments, Education etc. will not be considered as online purchase transaction.
    11. In case the cardholder cancels any transactions due to which he/she has qualified for the reward points, then those transactions will not be considered in the calculation of the additional reward points.
    12. Qualified customers will receive the reward points within 90 days from the date when the Offer ends.
  1. General Terms and Conditions
    1. This is an exclusive Offer provided by Standard Chartered Bank. All details regarding the Offer are available on the bank’s website(www.sc.com/in).
    2. The Bank reserves the right to modify/change all or any of the terms applicable to this Offer. The Bank also reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the Offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in the terms and conditions set out herein nor those forming part of the e-mailers or running this Offer shall be construed as an obligation on the part of the Bank to continue the Offer up to the date of termination/expiry of the Offer.
    3. Participation in this Offer is entirely voluntary, and it is agreed and understood by the participants that participation shall be deemed to have been made on a voluntary basis.
    4. The Offer is non-transferable.
    5. The Offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and/or cannot be made/continued for any reason whatsoever.
    6. All disputes under this Offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals of Mumbai.
    7. The Bank shall not be obliged to make any public announcements of the results of the Offer.
    8. In all matters relating to this Offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding.
    9. By participating in the Offer, the participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein and those forming part of the e-mailers.
    10. Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the Qualified Customer, shall be solely borne by the Qualified Customer.
    11. Any query regarding the Offer will be entertained till 90 days from the Offer fulfilment date. Post such date, the Bank will not entertain any correspondence or communication regarding the Offer.
