Terms and Conditions – EMI Offer with MakeMyTrip and Goibibo

  1. Definitions
    1. Bank: Standard Chartered Bank India
    2. Offer: The Offer means Qualified Customers are eligible for instant discount benefit for bookings done on Makemytrip website or mobile application during the Offer Period using their Standard Chartered Bank credit card EMI transactions as below:
      1. Flat 10% discount on domestic flight bookings (subject to a maximum of INR 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only)) on minimum booking of INR 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only).
      2. Flat 8% discount on international flight bookings (subject to a maximum of INR 3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand only)) on minimum booking of INR 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only).
      3. Flat 12% discount on domestic hotel bookings (subject to a maximum of INR 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only)) on minimum booking of INR 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only).
      4. Flat 15% discount on international hotel bookings for select hotels and flat 10% discount on remaining hotels (subject to a maximum of INR 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only)) on minimum booking of INR 7,000/- (Rupees Seven Thousand only).
      5. Up to 25% discount on Holiday bookings (subject to a maximum of INR 25,000/- (Twenty-five Thousand only)) on minimum booking of INR 40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand only).
    3. The Qualified Customer must use the e-coupon code as mentioned in the grid below at the time of payment or check out on MakeMyTrip website or mobile application to avail of the Offer.
    4. Offer Period: The Offer Period shall commence from 00:01 hours on 1st August 2022 and shall extend up to 23:59 hours on 15th August 2022.
    5. The instant discount offer is applicable only on 3, 6, 9 & 12 month tenures. No Cost EMI offer is applicable only on 3 & 6 month tenures.
    6. The offer with MakeMyTrip is applicable on MakeMyTrip’s website, mobile site, Android & iOS mobile app
    7. The offer with Goibibo is applicable on Goibibo’s website, mobile site, Android & iOS mobile app
    8. Each card holder would be entitled to the offer only once per card per category during the offer period

    11. Non-Eligibility: NRE and NRO account holders with Standard Chartered credit card will not be eligible for the Offer
    12. No other Standard Chartered Bank and MakeMyTrip / Goibibo offer can be clubbed with this offer
    13. Offer not valid on payments made directly at the hotel or through any other payment modes such as PayPal, gift card, wallet, Book Now Pay Later mode, Cash on Delivery (COD), net banking or on partial payments
    14. Offer not valid on “Multi-City Domestic Flights” made through “Multi-City” tab on MakeMyTrip / Goibibo website
    15. Offer valid only on ex-India flights i.e. flights departing from any Indian airport
    16. For hotels, discount to be calculated on property base price (pre-tax price)

    19. For holidays, discount to be calculated on base fare (excluding ancillaries, insurance, convenience fees)
    20. goCash+ wallet balance usage not allowed for the offer
    21. Discount will be calculated on amount exclusive of convenience fee, insurance, zero cancellation protection, taxes and ancillaries fee
    22. Offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer/promotion of Standard Chartered Bank
    23. In case of full/partial cancellation the offer stands void and customer will not be eligible for the offer

    1. The Offer will be communicated to customers through emailers/SMS/website on their registered email address or mobile number only

    1. This is an exclusive Offer provided by Standard Chartered Bank
    2. The Bank reserves the right to modify / change all or any of the terms applicable to this Offer. The Bank also reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the Offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in these terms and conditions, nor shall running this Offer be construed as an obligation on the Bank to continue the Offer up to the termination/expiry date
    3. Participation in this Offer is entirely voluntary, and it is agreed and understood by the Participants that participation shall be deemed to have been made on a voluntary basis
    4. The Offer is non-transferable
    5. The Offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and / or cannot be made for any reason whatsoever
    6. All disputes under this Offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts / tribunals of Mumbai
    7. The Bank shall not be obliged to make any public announcements of the results of the Offer
    8. In all matters relating to this Offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding
    9. The Bank shall not be responsible and shall not entertain any complaints or disputes on the quality of products and services provided by MakeMyTrip.
    10. By participating in the Offer, the Participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein
    11. Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the card holder due to provision of the offer, shall be to the sole account of the card holder
