SC Privileges Platform: Terms and Conditions

  • SC Privileges (“Site”) is open to all eligible Standard Chartered Bank, India (“Bank”) customers (“Customers”) who hold a valid Membership ID and have been communicated by the Bank regarding the program and eligibility conditions through SMS/Email/Notifications or any other channel.
  • The Site allows eligible Customers to access and avail various Privileges/Services from Thriwe/other participating Merchants based on the Membership ID provided by the Bank.
  • The Site is a comprehensive platform owned and managed by Thriwe Consulting Pvt Ltd (“Thriwe”). Please go through these terms and conditions with respect to usage of this Site, understand and accept them before proceeding further. Please go through the “Privacy Policy” to understand the nature of your personal data collected by Thriwe and the manner in which it is processed. Any disclosure of information towards availing and using the Privileges/Services is voluntary and at your sole discretion. By clicking “Proceed/ Submit”, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions and the Privacy Policy.
  • The Site allows eligible Bank Customers to access and avail the Privileges/Services offered by Thriwe and their participating Merchants based on the Membership ID provided by the Bank.
  • Prior to check-out, Customers will be required to authenticate a transaction via a penny drop request to their existing Standard Chartered Beyond Credit Card or Visa Infinite Debit card.
  • In case any payment is required to avail the Privileges/Services on the Site or offered by participating Merchants, wherever applicable, Customers would be required to make such payment using their Standard Chartered Beyond Credit or Visa Infinite Debit card.
  • Privileges/Services are strictly non-transferable and non-exchangeable (for cash or credit or otherwise) and cannot be used in conjunction with any other privileges, promotions, discount schemes, loyalty programmes, discount cards or vouchers, unless otherwise stated.
  • No payment or compensation whether in cash, credit or kind shall be made for any uncollected, lost, misplaced, defaced, stolen or damaged Privileges/ Services. The Bank and Thriwe/Merchants reserve the right to vary/discontinue the Privileges/Services as well as any other terms and conditions governing the Privileges without prior notice or reason (and the Bank shall not be obliged to disclose its reason).
  • The Bank does not make representation or warranty as to the quality, merchantability or fitness of any goods and services provided by Thriwe/Merchants and accepts no liability for the goods and services provided by Thriwe/Merchants. Any dispute about the same must be resolved directly with Thriwe/Merchants.
  • The Bank’s determination of all matters relating to the Privileges/Services, including a dispute, shall be final, conclusive and binding, and no correspondence will be entertained (and the Bank shall not be obliged to disclose its reason)
  • The Thriwe membership IDs are not transferable and should not be resold or redeemed for cash.
  • The Thriwe Membership ID can be availed only once per account holder.
  • The Thriwe Membership ID cannot be replaced, refunded or revalued. It cannot be exchanged for point(s) or cash & cannot be re-validated.
  • Privileges/Services are subject to availability.
  • The Bank will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage whatsoever that arises/may arise on account of availing/using these Privileges/Services.
  • The availability of the Privileges/Services is subject to force majeure events.
  • Tax liability or additional charges required for the Privileges/Services, if any, will need to be borne by the Customers.
  • These terms and conditions are to be read in conjunction with Thriwe/ Merchant terms and conditions. Thriwe/Merchants reserve the right to vary the Privileges/Services and any other terms and conditions governing the Privileges/Services.

How to avail

  • For eligible Customers, the Bank will send the ‘Membership IDs’ via Email / SMS on the Bank registered email ID/ mobile number of Customers.
  • The Membership IDs will be sent to the eligible Customers within 75 days from the date of their meeting the eligibility criteria determined by the Bank.
  • Customers have to do a one-time registration on the Site by using the valid Membership ID.
  • At the time of registration on the Site, Customers can use any email ID/ phone number which is active and regularly in use by them for receiving the OTP and booking related details.
  • Post successful registration, all communication with regard to the platform will be sent to the email id/ mobile number which is registered with Thriwe.
  • In case a Customer uses an international mobile number for registration, the OTP and booking details will only be sent to the registered email ID.
  • Once registered/ logged in on the Site, Customers will be able to view various Privileges/Services which are available to them based on their eligibility.
  • Once Customers select the preferred Privilege/Service, they would be able to view the detailed information about the offering as well as the related terms and conditions for fulfilment/ redemption.
  • On an ongoing basis, the Bank will evaluate (“Periodic Review”) adherence to the eligibility criteria by Customers and shall subsequently upgrade/downgrade and/or continue/discontinue the Privileges/Services offered.
  • Periodic review would be conducted twice per year. Customers who have been newly onboarded in the 6 months prior (to Periodic Review date) would be excluded from the Periodic Review. Any Privilege/Service utilized by a Customer during its validity period, would be deducted from the updated eligibility/access assigned to the Customer post the Periodic Review.
  • Any confirmed bookings made prior to the Periodic Review will be fulfilled.
  • Customers will not be allowed to make a fresh booking of a Privilege/Service if there is an existing open/unfulfilled booking of the same offering.
  • A booking which is cancelled post the cancellation window specified by Thriwe/Merchant, would qualify for purposes of Privilege/Service fulfilment and would be deducted from the existing service access assigned to the Customer.
