If you suspect that there is an unauthorised transaction in your account, please report it to us
The only way anyone can access your Online Banking account is by entering your unique login ID and password. Please ensure that your login ID & password are secure and not shared with anyone.
Incase suspect compromised of your password please reset your password.
Follow the below steps to block your card in case of an unauthorised transaction:
Step 1: Log in to Online Banking or SC Mobile
Step 2: Select “Help & Services”
Step 3: Go to “Card Management” and select “Report Lost/Stolen Card”
Step 4: Follow the instructions on the screen
Step 5: Upon completion, your card will be blocked and a replacement card will be sent to your registered mailing address

You will get an alert for all transactions done through Online Banking. In case you do not receive an SMS alert, please check:
If you have network
If you haven’t blocked Standard Chartered Bank as a sender
If your mobile number is updated in our records. You can check the same under “Profile Details” section in Online Banking.
If you still don’t receive the alert, please wait for a few minutes to account for any network-related delays.

Safeguard your Password. Never reveal your Password to anyone, including the staff of Standard Chartered Bank. Standard Chartered Bank will never ask you for confidential information like OTP/PIN/Password through emails, SMS, phone calls or in-person. Beware of anyone asking you for such details.
Do not use easy-to-guess numbers as your Password, such as 111111, 123456, your date of birth, etc.
Change your Password regularly (once in 3 months). Just click “Change Password” and follow the simple instructions.
When you enter your ID and Password during login, please ensure that others cannot see your screen and you are not being observed from behind. If you suspect that your password has been stolen or exposed to others, please reach out to us.
Always log out from Online Banking when you finish using the service or when you will be away from your PC. For security reasons, your login session of Online Banking will be terminated if your browser is left idle for a while. Always remember to close the browser application after logout. Avoid accessing Online Banking through PCs installed in public/open areas, e.g. cyber-cafes or libraries.
Follow the below steps to reset your username or password.
If you have a Savings account/Debit Card –
Step 1: Click here to visit the registration page. Click on forgot Username/Password.
Step 2: Enter your Debit card number and your ATM PIN
Step 3: Verify your registered mobile number and enter temporary password sent on your registered mobile number
Step 4: Create your own personalized online banking user id and password.
If you don’t have a Savings account/Debit Card but have a Credit Card
Step 1: Click here to visit the registration page. Click on forgot Username/Password.
Step 2: Enter your credit card details (card number, CVV, expiry) and your date of birth (as provided to the bank)
Step 3: Verify your registered mobile number and enter temporary password sent on your registered mobile number.
Step 4: Create your own personalized online banking user id and password
Your username and password reset is complete. Starting using online banking or SC Mobile now.
Follow the below steps to add your Payee :-
Step 1 : Login to SCB Internet Banking using your username and password.
Step 2 : Click on Transfers in left hand side menu
Step 3 : Select Tab ‘Third Party Transfers’ and click on ‘Add a new payee’
Step 4 : Select payee type and enter required Payee details.
You need to have your ATM/ Debit card and pin number, or a primary credit card, for setting up the transaction password.
Step 1 : Login to SCB Internet Banking using your username and password
Step 2 : Click on Change Password in left hand side menu
Step 3: Selection transaction password tab and enter the required password and card details
