Credit Cards Spend Raffle Terms and Conditions (01 January 2024 – 28 February 2024)

  1. The campaign is applicable to all Standard Chartered Bank credit card clients – existing credit card clients as well as the clients acquired during the campaign offer period.
  2. This is a limited offer from 01 January 2024 to 28 February 2024 (both days inclusive).
  3. To be eligible for this offer, clients have to register either by sending SMS WINSPEND to 3133 or through the link provided in the email communication.
  4. A client will have a chance to win back retail spends during the campaign period maximum amount capped for each raffle prize. The table below lists down the raffle prizes:

    Kindly note that prize amount cannot be higher than the capped amount for each category as stated in the above table. For example, if the winner of the 1st prize had retail spend of AED 17,000 then cashback amount will be AED 17,000 only. However, if the winner of the 1st prize had retail spend of AED 30,000 then cashback amount will be AED 25,000 only (the capped amount).

  5. Raffle entries: Each AED 500 credit card retail spend equals to 1 ticket entry into the raffle draw, please refer below illustration:

  6. The campaign offers a chance to credit card clients to win back the retail spends made during the campaign offer period. This is not a guaranteed offer.
  7. After a client has won a raffle prize, the client will not be part of subsequent raffle draws; this means a client can win only one raffle prize in the above offer.
  8. The raffle draw will take place in Dubai after the campaign period, latest by 31 March 2024.
  9. In case of multiple credit cards, client’s total retail spend across all cards will be summed to calculate eligible entries count. Eligibility will be at client level, where spends across all Standard Chartered eligible credit cards will be considered.
  10. The cashback will not be considered as payment of the due outstanding.
  11. The spend must be on RETAIL transactions only, which is credit card retail purchases, Point-Of-Sale and online transactions (within or outside the UAE)
  12. The following are excluded from eligibility criteria spends – exchange houses, cash withdrawals, Balance Transfers, Fixed Payment Plans, School Fee Cashiers Orders and Smart Payment Plans
  13. Retail purchases/transactions made on the Primary as well as Supplementary Credit Card/s will be included in the calculation of the spend requirement.
  14. Cardholders who have cancelled or terminated the credit card for any reason at the time of computation of the eligibility for this campaign, will not be eligible for the cashback.
  15. To the extent of any inconsistency between this Offer terms and the Standard Chartered Client Terms and Credit Card Terms and Conditions, the Standard Chartered Client Terms and Credit Card Terms and Conditions will prevail.
  16. If the Credit Card is overdue, blocked or suspended for any reason whatsoever, then the cashback shall stand forfeited but may be reinstated, at the sole discretion of the Bank.

Warning

  • If your credit card account balance goes over the set credit limit at any point in time, your credit card account will be charged an over-limit fee. This fee will be applied on your statement date each month until you are within your credit limit. Please ensure to clear the over-limit amount immediately. (Not applicable to Smart Saadiq card).
  • If the minimum payment due is not paid on or before the due date, a late payment charge is levied on the credit card account in addition to the monthly finance charges (interest/profit/fees). (Late payment charge is not applicable to Smart Saadiq card).
  • If you make only the minimum payment each period, you will pay more in interest/profit/fees, and it will take you longer to pay off your outstanding balance.
