Yes, a minimum spends of AED 10,000 or more every month is required for the card holder to avail the free round of golf at partner golf clubs and the Fitness First Access.

Golf Privileges: If the minimum spend requirement is not met, a fee of AED 500 will be applicable. Golf privileges are subsidised by Standard Chartered Bank and not a direct offer from the golf club.

Fitness First Privileges: If the minimum spend requirement is not met, a fee of AED 500 will be applicable. Cardholders will be requested to charge their Journey Credit Card for AED 1 for every visit to a Fitness First outlet which will be reversed in the following statement.

Important notice – Effective 2nd Feb 2024 Fitness First membership access will be limited to up to 30 visits per month for all Journey credit cardholders. The total 30 visits will be cumulative of Primary and Supplementary cardholders’ visits. A one-time fee of AED 525 will be applied if total number of visits exceed more than 30 visits in a month. No, as a client, you are not required to take any action. All the system and communication changes with our partners have been managed by Standard Chartered Bank. Your Visa infinite card will automatically be replaced with a new Journey design card on renewal, or on replacement which is requested to us through any of our authorised channels (by the client).

  • Card holders will not be granted access rights to the stipulated clubs without booking through GolfLan’s call centre at 800035703553
  • You need to book 5 working days before you want to play on weekdays and 8 working days for weekends. While our team is flexible, we advise you to book as early as possible to ensure you get the time of your choice otherwise alternatives will be given. Bookings are subject to availability.
  • GolfLan’s call centre will call the card holder within 2 to 3 business days upon receipt of a golf booking with the status.
  • Golf bookings made before 12 noon (UAE time) will be processed on the same day, and after 12 noon will be processed on the next business day
  • Booking status can only be confirmed one (1) week before requested date of play as golf clubs only release tee times one (1) week before date of play.
  • If card holder has used the free allowance for the month (one round of golf) GolfLan’s call centre will request card holder confirmation of booking and approval to charge the golfing fees onto his/her credit card.
  • GolfLan reserves the right to withhold services to golfers who do not abide by the terms and conditions of play.
  • Acceptance of all bookings/changes to tee times will be at the discretion of the golf clubs and subject to availability.
  • Bookings cannot be made more than one month in advance from the date of play, client cannot make the booking again for the same month and card holders cannot place the next booking until the current golf game has been played.
  • A member of the participating golf clubs cannot make a booking directly at the golf club and transfer the confirmed tee-time over to the card holder.
  • GolfLan’s call centre will not process booking on behalf of a club member who is not a card holder. A club member will have to contact his/her golf club to be paired up with the card holder(s).
  • Journey card holders will have to pay for buggy, caddie, turf mate, locker fee and insurance at normal published rates & any other fees, where applicable, on their Journey credit card.
  • Card holders’ guests have to pay for green fee, buggy, caddie, turf mate, locker fee and insurance at normal published rates & any other fees, where applicable, on their Journey credit card.
  • There will be an administration fee of USD 15 (equivalent to AED 55) for any changes made to the confirmed golf booking such as amendments to tee-times, change of date of play and change of golfer’s names on confirmed bookings. Changes can only be made based on availability.
  • If card holder changes booking and requests GolfLan’s call centre to check on another timing or different club or different golf day, this will be considered as a new golf booking request and may be charged.
  • Applicable Third Party vendor fees/charges may incur VAT.
