Yes, a minimum spend of AED10,000 or more every month is required for the cardholder to avail the complimentary round of golf at partner golf clubs and Warehouse Gym access.

  • Golf: If the minimum spend requirement is not met, a fee of AED525 will be applicable. Golf privileges are subsided by Standard Chartered Bank and not a direct offer from the golf clubs.

No, as a client, you are not required to take any action. All the system and communication changes with our partners have been managed by Standard Chartered Bank. Your Visa infinite card will automatically be replaced with a new Journey design card on renewal, or on replacement which is requested to us through any of our authorised channels (by the client).

  • Journey Credit cardholders are entitled to earn 10% cashback capped at maximum of AED100 per statement on purchases made at duty free stores in all UAE airports – Merchant category code (MCC) 5309.

Whereas all Priority Private Journey credit cardholders are eligible for an extra round of golf each month which means they get 2 rounds of golf per month, this complimentary visit per month is a shared benefit limit between the primary and supplementary credit card holders.
  • The Journey credit cardholder is limited to a maximum of 3 rounds of golf in a calendar year at the 8 participating facilities (Golf Clubs). For example, each golf club has a maximum booking limit of three rounds in one calendar year period. If the maximum booking limit (3 rounds) has been availed in the same calendar period, then the cardholder will require to choose another listed golf venue for booking.
  • You must spend AED 10,000 on your credit card each statement month to enjoy this offer, otherwise a one-time fee of AED 525 will be charged for each game booked.
  • Golf privileges are subsidised by Standard Chartered Bank and not a direct offer from the golf club. Only available for Journey credit cardholders whose card account is in good standing order and is regularised (not in default or not cancelled for any reason). This program is not transferable.
  • The cardholder will be charged with an additional game fee of AED 525 if the round of golf booking made on SpikesOn.com is more than one booking in the same month.
  • This benefit is only available when you book via the SpikesOn.com mobile app or on their website www.spikeson.com, using your eligible Standard Chartered Journey credit card. The SpikesOn.com mobile app is offered by Back9 Solutions General Trading LLC.
  • The bookings are required to be placed a maximum of seven (7) days before the date of play on weekdays and weekends.
  • SpikesOn.com App will have the capability of Booking one (1) complimentary game for the calendar month based on the date of play & not the date of booking. For example, if the customer has booked 1 game in April, they will not be able to play another round in April. But they can make another booking in April to play during the following month.
  • Any unused round of golf at the end of a month will not be rolled over into the next month.
  • Process of making any changes in the Golf booking after receiving the confirmation:
    • If the booking is outside 48 hrs, the customer can make adjustments via the app. The only change they cannot make is to add an additional person to a booking or move the booking to a different time. In such cases, the customer can simply cancel the original booking and book again. Any changes made to a booking will be notified to the client by email with a booking confirmation.
    • If the booking is within the 48 hrs cancellation policy, the customer can contact the golf club directly and if agreed to by the golf club, the golf club can make any changes to the booking. Journey credit cardholders will have to pay for buggy, caddie, turf mate, locker fee and insurance at normal published rates & any other fees, where applicable at the club. The credit cardholders credit card will be charged for the full amount 48 hours before a booking after the cardholder confirms the booking using SpikesOn.com.
  • Card holders’ guests have to pay for green fee, buggy, caddie, turf mate, locker fee and insurance at normal published rates & any other fees, where applicable.
  • In case of cancellation within 48 hours of the booking time or the client did not show up for the golf round, the cardholder will incur fee/charges charged from the participating Golf Clubs as per the rate on that day. This rate will be subjective to the rate offered by the golf club to the Bank. Also, the golf round of that month will also be marked as consumed.
  • Journey credit cardholders shall make golf enquiries through SpikesOn.com dedicated hotline number +97142348885 and dedicated email help@back9solutions.com. Journey credit cardholders can also benefit from the automated ‘Help Bot’.
  • Standard Chartered Bank or SpikesOn.com reserves the right to withhold services to golfers who do not abide by the terms and conditions of play.
  • Acceptance of all bookings/changes to tee times will be at the discretion of the golf clubs and subject to availability.

Limited time campaign for extra round of golf Terms & Conditions (1 August 2025 till 28 February 2026)
  • For a limited time, all Journey credit cardholders will be eligible for an additional round of golf per month, which makes two complimentary rounds of golf each month. The complimentary rounds per month is a shared limit between the primary and supplementary credit card holders.
  • This increase in complimentary rounds of Golf will remain effective from 1 August 2025 to 28 February 2026 only.
  • To enjoy 2 complimentary golf rounds, you must spend a minimum of AED 12,000 on your card each statement month, otherwise a one-time fee of AED 525 will be charged for each golf round played.
