10% cashback on UAE airport duty free spends offer Terms and Conditions

  • Journey Credit cardholders are entitled to earn 10% cashback capped at a maximum of AED100 per statement on purchases made at duty-free stores in all UAE airports – Merchant category code (MCC) 5309.
  • The offer is only applicable from or after 1 March 2025 to 31 December 2025. Any transactions made before the offer start date 1 March 2025 or after the offer end date 31 December 2025 will not be eligible for the cashback rewards offer.
  • To qualify for this benefit, you must have conducted at least 1 Airline transaction within the last 180 calendar days, from the date of purchase at duty free stores in the UAE.
  • The maximum cashback reward offer amount is capped at AED 100 per statement.
  • The eligible cashback reward will be automatically credited as a ‘cashback credit’ in the Journey credit card statement.
  • Both primary and supplementary cardholders’ transactions will be accumulated for the cashback reward.
  • In the event a Cardholder does not meet the eligibility criteria; there will be no cashback reward.
  • Eligible Airline spends – To be eligible for cashback reward on UAE duty-free spends, the transactions must be conducted directly with the airline or travel agency (only MCC codes 3000, 3301 and 4722 will be considered); other transactions will not be eligible for the offer.
  • The benefits and features set out are as current as the date they appear. However, they may be subject to change at any time in accordance with the applicable product terms and conditions.
  • The Bank reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Offer and to disqualify any participant who tampers with the offer and/or the entry process.

These terms and conditions are in addition to and supplementary to the terms and conditions applicable to all Credit Card accounts as contained in the Credit Card Terms.
