Important Information:

  • The bank will automatically determine the best payment option for your transaction-based on cost, speed, payment value and corridor. International remittances are powered by SWIFT and Wise.
  • *Additional fees may be levied by the correspondent bank/financial institution or entity providing financial services to the beneficiary of remittances. Transactions to the above-mentioned countries and “Other Countries” may incur a correspondent banking fee, if the transfer adopts a SWIFT route.
  • **While the indicative transfer time of funds to your beneficiary country is listed above, the actual time to complete a transaction may differ or take longer than indicated due to statutory risk checks or increased scrutiny of transactions by the correspondent bank/financial institution or entity providing financial services to the beneficiary of remittances.
  • Penalties (for conventional) and fees may be applied if there is a customer error or omission in providing correct or complete information for remittances.
  • All remittances to individual and corporate entities listed above will be processed using the P2P/P2B routes and will generally be created on the same day. Terms & Conditions apply.

Peer-to-Peer/Peer-to-Business transactions (P2P/P2B – Alternate to SWIFT-Based Payments):

Peer-to- Peer/Peer-to-Business transactions (also referred to as person-to-person/business transactions, P2P/P2B transactions, or P2P/P2B payments) are electronic money transfers made from one person to another person/business through an intermediary, typically referred to as a P2P/P2B payment application. These payments do not involve correspondent banks in the payment flow when compared to SWIFT-Based Payments. All transfers are subject to multiple checks in place for fraud and laundering which add to the length of time it takes to transfer funds.

SWIFT- Based Payments:

SWIFT payments are a method of making an international money transfer sent by the SWIFT international payment network. SWIFT stands for ‘Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication’ and is the largest and most widely used financial messaging system in the world. SWIFT money transfers can typically take around one to four working days for your funds to reach the destination bank account, with the length of time varying based on the destination country, variations in time zones and differing banking processes. In addition, all transfers are subject to multiple checks in place for fraud and laundering which add to the length of time it takes to transfer funds.
