Isabelle Chastagner
Managing Director, Global Co-Head of Power and Diversified Industries, Corporate Coverage France and Southern Europe
Isabelle is Co-Head of Client Coverage for France and Southern Europe. She is also Global Co-Head of the Power & Diversified Industries sector at Standard Chartered, alongside her regional responsibilities.
With nearly three decades of experience in investment banking, Isabelle brings deep expertise across corporate coverage and capital markets. Before joining Standard Chartered in 2014, she spent ten years at Deutsche Bank as Coverage Banker focused on CAC40 clients. She began her career in Global Markets as a Debt Capital Markets Originator at Deutsche Bank and Barclays Capital.
Based in Paris, Isabelle is a member of the Country Management Group for Standard Chartered France. She leads a team of senior bankers, leveraging strong cross-border capabilities to connect Europe with Asia, the Middle East and Africa across 54 markets, helping clients navigate complex markets and drive sustainable growth.
Isabelle has also served as Co-Head of Diversity & Inclusion for Standard Chartered France for six years, with a particular focus on gender equality and disability inclusion. She was an active member of the European D&I Council.
She holds MSc in Finance and a Master’s degree in Financial Markets, Commodities and Enterprise from Paris Dauphine University.
