Chong Hoon Park

As head of the Korea and Japan research team, Chong Hoon provides in-depth analysis of the Korean and Japan economy. He joined the Bank in 2009. Previously, Chong Hoon was head of telecom policy research at the Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI), a government think tank, and head of corporate strategy and new business at SK Broadband (formerly Hanaro Telecom).

Chong Hoon regularly appears in the media and speaks at corporate and public seminars. He has a BSc in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, an MBA from George Washington University, and a PhD in economics specialising in international economics and development from Northwestern University.
