Sammar Khalid

Sammar leads the Transaction Banking FX business across Africa and Middle East markets, responsible for the product management and business commercialisation function including design and delivery of our digital FX Payments across Institutional, Fintech and Corporate Segments.

She enjoys, cocreating client solutions and working closely with digital treasuries through technology and strategic alliances delivering the best-in-class solutions.

Sammar has over 17 years’ banking experience in UAE, Pakistan and Canada, working with Large local and international banks, covering clients across retail, corporates and financial institutions, primarily handling transaction banking sales and product development functions. She is a brings with her extensive knowledge of cash management, trade finance and custody services, expertise in sales and product management as well as deep knowledge of the AME region.

She has graduated from University of Ottawa in Canada, completed her B.COM (Hons) in Management Info systems and has been with the bank for over 14 years.
