Scott Corrigan is Group General Counsel and Group Company Secretary at Standard Chartered.
Appointed
Scott Corrigan became Group Company Secretary in November 2025. He joined the Bank in 2014 and previously held this role on an interim basis in 2021/22.
Scott is also Group General Counsel, having been appointed to the role in January 2025.
He leads the Legal & Corporate Secretariat teams at Standard Chartered.
Career
Scott has extensive legal expertise, having previously served as Assistant District Attorney at the New York County District Attorney’s Office and as Enforcement Counsel for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
After leaving government service, Scott represented banks, other financial services firms, and financial services executives in government investigations and civil litigation. He also served in a variety of managerial roles as a law firm partner.
