Scott Dickinson
Regional Head, Financing & Securities Services, AME
Scott Dickinson is the Regional Head of Financing & Securities Services in Africa and Middle East, at Standard Chartered Bank. Based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Scott has more than 30 years of experience in banking, having started his career in global custody in 1983. Since then, he has held several senior sales and relationship management roles within the industry, before joining Standard Chartered Bank as the Head of Financial and Strategic Investors, Securities Services in 2017 – a responsibility which he retains alongside his current role.
He was recognised by Global Custodian in 2009 as an industry legend for his outstanding contribution to the Securities Services industry. Scott is a graduate in economics and retains a strong interest in geopolitics and their impact on emerging markets.
