Sheeraz Siddiqui
Executive Director, Head of Financial Institutions, UAE, Global Banking
Sheeraz leads the Financial Institutions business in UAE and is responsible for managing relationships with Banks, Brokers, Sovereign/Public sector entities, Investors and Insurance clients.
He has been involved in a diverse range of origination activities raising approximately USD 25+ billion of financing for several clients across various geographies, which included both bilateral facilities and structured finance transactions (encompassing DCM, syndication, structured asset finance and project finance).
He joined Standard Chartered in 2004 and has been in various roles in the wholesale bank since then, including regional coverage roles in Financial Markets Sales (between 2010-13) and Islamic Origination (2007-10). Prior to Standard Chartered worked with ABN AMRO in Pakistan.
