Su-Lin Watson

Su-Lin Watson is a Managing Director and Global Head of Standard Chartered Bank’s Healthcare sector, based in New York. Su-Lin also manages the bank’s regional Consumer & Healthcare sector for the Americas. Standard Chartered Bank is a leading international bank with a 160 year history and a unique global footprint across 59 markets in Asia, Africa and the Middle East, Europe and Americas. In addition to her sectoral responsibilities, Su-Lin is also Chair of Standard Chartered’s Diversity & Inclusion Council for the Americas.

Prior to joining Standard Chartered in 2019, Su-Lin was a Senior Relationship Manager at Westpac Banking Corporation.  Su-Lin joined Westpac in 2014 from Citi’s Corporate & Investment Banking team, where she held various roles in New York, London and Frankfurt.  Su-Lin has 20 years of experience in the banking sector and has been based in the U.S. for over 17 years.

Su-Lin was born in Singapore and raised in both Singapore and London. Su-Lin is a graduate of the University of Oxford with a B.A. in Modern History, and a graduate of the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies with an M.A. in Chinese Studies.
