Sundeep Gantori
Chief Investment Officer, Equities
Sundeep Gantori is the Chief Investment Officer, Equities at Standard Chartered with more than 20 years of experience in financial markets. He leads the equities team within the Chief Investment Office and is a member of the Bank’s Global Investment Committee, which is responsible for forming cross-asset investment views for Wealth & Retail Banking (WRB).
Sundeep joined Standard Chartered in early 2026. Before joining the bank, he was a Managing Director and CIO Equity Strategist at UBS Wealth Management, where he spent almost nineteen years leading global tech coverage and managing various equity portfolios. He started his career at PCS Securities in India as an equity analyst covering the technology and telecoms sectors.
Sundeep’s views are widely-sought by both clients and the media. He has published many deep dives and thought leadership research on some of the biggest transformative themes of the past two decades with industry, with leading academic citations. His views appear regularly on various media platforms including live discussions on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and BBC.
Sundeep is based in Singapore and travels globally around Asia, the Middle East and Europe to share his views with both clients and the media.
