Vinai Krishnan

Vinai Krishnan is a Managing Director and Global Sector Head of Technology Media & Telecoms Coverage. Based in San Francisco, he works closely with financial and business executives at leading TMT companies, as a trusted advisor. He addresses their corporate and investment banking requirements, with particular emphasis on supporting their global operations.

Vinai joined Standard Chartered Bank in San Francisco in 2014, following seven years of experience with the Bank in London, Singapore, and India. Prior to his move to San Francisco, he was a Director in the Group CEO Office, where he supported Standard Chartered’s Group CEO to cultivate key client relationships and manage key external engagements and board commitments. Vinai also managed the secretariat for the India UK CEO Forum, an initiative launched by the Prime Ministers of India and the United Kingdom to advance recommendations to enhance bilateral trade and investment.

Vinai holds a Masters degree in engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He co-chairs Standard Chartered’s Disability Resource Initiative and the Veteran Engagement Network (DRIVEN) and is a neuro-diversity advocate.
