Bill Winters, Group Chief Executive, said:

“We delivered another strong quarter, with broad-based growth across our businesses and year-to-date earnings per share up 27 per cent. We have long believed that the structural shifts in trade, investment and wealth creation would create significant opportunities for Standard Chartered, and our performance this quarter provides further evidence that we are capturing them. The consistency and breadth of our performance reflects the strength of our franchise and disciplined execution across the Group. This gives us confidence to raise our 2026 income guidance, and we now expect to deliver a RoTE of around 14 per cent in 2026.”

Manus Costello, Group Chief Financial Officer, said:

“We’ve delivered another record performance in the third quarter of 2026. The breadth, quality and consistency of this performance gives us the confidence to raise our full-year guidance. We know our clients value our global network, our ability to connect them to opportunities, and the deep expertise and local market knowledge our colleagues provide. Our focus is on building a simpler, faster and more connected bank to better serve our clients as they navigate an increasingly complex world.”
