Standard Chartered hires Jan Metzger to lead global coverage team in Corporate & Investment Banking
Singapore, London – Standard Chartered today announced that Jan Metzger is joining the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) team as Global Head, Coverage Banking.
A highly experienced global banker with two decades’ experience in Asia, Jan has a long track record of leading multi-region businesses serving corporates, financial institutions and public sector clients with investment banking, credit, and transaction banking.
Jan joins from Citi, where he was most recently Co-Head of Investment Banking for Asia Pacific. He held a number of senior roles including Global Co-Head of Technology Investment Banking, following roles at Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank.
He will be based in Hong Kong and be a member of the CIB Management Team, reporting to Roberto Hoornweg, CEO, Corporate & Investment Bank.
