Careem (Groceries) Offer

  • To obtain the offer for orders on Groceries, use your eligible Journey credit card for payment, and use the promo code SC30 when you checkout.
  • Minimum purchase amount of AED 50 applies to get the offer, minimum spend excludes delivery costs and other discounts.
  • Discount codes cannot be reused, even if the order is refunded or cancelled.
  • The Cardholders can get a discount subject to a maximum of 30% off capped at AED 30 per transaction.
  • Cardholders can utilise the offer twice per month.

Careem (Electronics) Offer

  • To obtain the offer for orders on Electronics, use your eligible Journey credit card for payment, and use the promo code SC100 when you checkout.
  • Minimum purchase amount of AED 500 applies to get the offer, minimum spend excludes delivery costs and other discounts.
  • Discount codes cannot be reused, even if the order is refunded or cancelled.
  • The Cardholders can get a discount subject to a maximum of 10% off capped at AED 100 per transaction.
  • Cardholders can utilise the offer twice per month.
  • Offer valid for a maximum of two orders per cardholder on Grocery and a maximum of two orders per cardholder on Electronic items as mentioned below:

  • Transaction purchases made by primary cardholders as well as transactions made by supplementary cardholders are entitled for this promotion.
  • Each Journey credit cardholder will be eligible to get a discount on two Grocery orders and on two Electronic orders during the campaign period (total 4 orders in each month).
  • Offers cannot be used in conjunction with other discount codes or offers.
  • If an order is cancelled or a refund request is issued, only the net amount paid by the cardholder will be refunded to the cardholder. Refunds do not apply to discounted amounts.
  • Offer is not valid on payments done via mobile wallets such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay or other digital wallets; and is not applicable on the service charges. Clients must enter card details manually through Careem mobile app.
  • Standard Chartered Bank may, at its sole discretion, disqualify any Cardholder from participating in this Offer if the Cardholder is deemed to be engaged in any fraudulent activity in connection with this Offer. Decision of Standard Chartered Bank, in this regard, will be final and binding.
  • Standard Chartered Bank and Careem can, in their sole discretion, replace this Offer by another offer, whether similar to this Offer or not, or to withdraw it altogether. Standard Chartered Banks and Careem’s decision in this regard shall be final and binding.
  • Standard Chartered Bank is not liable for the services/products offered by Careem or for the proper functioning of the Careem App. Any complaints with respect to the transactions or any service or product related issues/queries should be referred to Careem directly.
  • Any Cardholder participating in this Offer will be deemed to have accepted these Offer Terms.
  • To the extent of any inconsistency between this Offer terms and the Standard Chartered Client Terms and Credit Card Terms, the Standard Chartered Client Terms and Credit Card Terms will prevail.
  • The bank shall not be responsible for or held liable for any amount payable by the Cardholder to any third party arising out of the purchase, supply, quality, installation, use or otherwise of Rewards, or of any negligence, breach of statutory or other duty on the part of the Bank and/or the supplier.
