Consent and Terms & Conditions for Credit Limit Increase

1. The credit card limit increase is subject to meeting internal Bank policy and debt burden ratio being within the regulatory threshold.

2. You provide us with your consent to contact you at the address, email address and phone numbers you have registered with us, to give you information on other products and services that we, or our strategic partners, may offer. 3. You authorise us to disclose, obtain, verify, and exchange any of the information you have given to us with anyone we may consider appropriate such as a legal and regulatory authority or credit reference / rating agency or bureaus in line with the regulations or guidelines from the respective agencies or bureaus.

4. The Credit Card Terms and Conditions shall be applicable for the purposes of a credit card limit increase.

5. You will be notified of your enhanced / rejected credit card limit in the next statement generated. Alternatively, you may view the status of your request on our Online or Mobile banking platform.

6. Your approved credit limit increase will be applicable to all primary cards.

7. In the event of incomplete / incorrect information provided or additional documents required, there may be a delay in processing or a rejecting your request.

CONSENT:  I do hereby declare that I/we authorise Standard Chartered Bank (the “Bank”) to use its approved verification agencies or make references/inquiries from any source of information, or any person or entity and authorise the Bank to use and verify credit information or any other financial information received by the Bank itself or such contacted references, financial institutions, debt collection agencies, credit bureaus, or any other person or entity disclosed to the Bank with any information requested about me/us in its possession.

I also understand that any facility the Bank may offer shall be at its sole discretion and any check conducted by the Bank shall not implicitly or explicitly mean that it agrees to provide me with any facility.

By responding through digital channels like SMS, email, I/ consent Standard Chartered Bank to request for my statement of account through the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates, from my/ bank (as can be identified by the account number IBAN) and also for my/our bank to provide this information through the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates, without taking additional consent. I/we consent to the (one time) release of my account statement, for the Bank to obtain and share my account information, including the transaction details for the identified period, to determine my eligibility for the product. The information provided will be shared and retained in accordance with applicable law concerning data security and privacy protections.
