The above Interest rates applicable on regular Fixed Deposits are indicative & subject to change at the sole discretion of Standard Chartered Bank UAE. Once the Fixed Deposit is booked the rate is confirmed for the tenure.

For regular Fixed Deposits opened online, the interest rates may differ from above indicative rates. The final rate can only be confirmed once the Fixed Deposit has been booked online.
Foreign currencies available for regular Fixed Deposits: GBP and USD.
Preferential interest rates as well as booking of regular Fixed Deposits in other foreign currencies are subject to approval.

Fixed Deposits Campaign Terms & Conditions (July 2026 to August 2026)
Minimum Deposit Amount is AED 25,000 or equivalent in foreign currency
‘Fresh Funds’ are defined as funds deposited in the last 30 days of Fixed Deposit Booking
On early withdrawal, the interest payable will be paid at the Original Fixed Deposit Rate (i.e. the rate labelled “Interest Rate % p.a.” on your Fixed Deposit Confirmation) less 2% (two percentage points) per annum. If, after subtracting the 2% (two percentage points), the interest rate payable is equal to or less than 0% (zero percentage points), no interest will be paid and only the principal amount will be returned.
In case you have been paid any interest prior to early withdrawal, excess interest paid will be subject to a penalty of 2% (two percentage points), which will be deducted from the principal amount.

In case of a Upfront Fixed Deposit being uplifted prior to completion of the minimum tenor as applicable for the product (i.e.1 month or 30 days), no interest will be paid out and any interest paid will be deducted from the principal amount.
Partial withdrawal of the Fixed Deposit and/or the Upfront Fixed Deposit are not available.
For any renewals, automatic or not, please note that we retain the right to not offer the same interest pay out frequency as per your initial tenor. You will however be notified where this is applicable.
