Build and Win Terms and Conditions

  1. CASA Build and Win Campaign is only applicable to regular Current Account, Savings Account and Saadiq Savings Account in AED or USD currency, for balances held any other account type or currency will not be considered in the calculation. Clients can grow their balances in any/all of the accounts mentioned.
  2. In case of joint accounts, only the primary account holder can register to the campaign.
  3. Clients can cancel subscription to the campaign within 3 days after registration by sending an SMS with a message “Cancel” to 3993. If client cancels within 3 days after registration, clients will not get the gift and there will be no charges levied to the account. Cancellation requests received 3 days after registration will not be processed and the client may be subject to charges equivalent to the market price of the gift.
  4. In case client sends more than one registration SMS, only the first SMS will be considered for registration and subsequent registrations will be ignored.
  5. Standard Chartered Bank will put a block of an amount equal to the retail price of the chosen gift, on  client’s account number mentioned on the email sent to client(s), post registration.
  6. Standard Chartered Bank will take the total relationship balance of the client(s) across accounts mentioned in point 1. For AED accounts, FX rate to be used is USD 1 = AED 3.67.
  7. Clients have until 30 April 2018 to fund their account(s) as per the target deposit balance. If the relationship balance as of 30 April 2018 is less than the target deposit balance, Standard Chartered Bank will debit the client’s account an amount equivalent to the retail price of the gift.
  8. Clients must maintain the target deposit balance until 31 July 2018. In case that the average balance in any calendar month, from May 2018 to July 2018, is less than the target deposit balance, Standard Chartered Bank has the right to debit the client’s account an amount equivalent to the retail price of the gift.
  9. For Saadiq Saving Account(s), the gift item is being sent to client as Hiba provided that the client meets campaign requirements. In case the client is not able to meet the campaign requirements, the amount of Hiba is considered cancelled and will be debited from client’s account.
  10. Gift will only be delivered once the client registers and after Standard Chartered Bank blocks the amount equivalent to the retail price of the gift item. Registering clients should ensure that the account mentioned in our communication is funded. If the account is not funded, then the gift will not be delivered.
  11. Gift will be delivered within three weeks after registration. Standard Chartered Bank appointed supplier will contact registered clients to book an appointment for delivery and gift shall be delivered within 1 week after successful contact.
  12. For clients who have maintained their target deposit balance throughout the campaign period, the amount blocked will only be released on or after 15th August 2018 after end of the campaign.
  13. The Gift is non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash or any other item.
  14. The Bank is not responsible for any loss, damage and/or injury sustained by the winner or any other person arising directly or indirectly from the use of any of the Gifts. The Bank is not the supplier of any Gift offered and will not accept contractual, torts or any other kind of liability in respect of any Gift supplied by third party merchants. The Bank makes no representation or warranty with respect to the satisfactory quality or performance of the Gift given in this offer. The Gift is subject to the terms and conditions as may be imposed by the Merchant(s) which are beyond our control. Accordingly, the Bank will not be responsible or liable for any death, injury, damage or loss suffered by any client or any third party or any of their property which is caused directly or indirectly by any of the Gift.
