Employee Banking Campaign

“SCB” STANDARD CHARTERED BANK, incorporated in England and Wales with limited liability by Royal Charter 1853 reference number ZC18 and licensed to operate as a commercial bank in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by the Central Bank of UAE;
“Client” Means Priority Private and Priority Banking Clients who hold an active Transacting Account(s) with SCB
“Campaign Offer” Clients shall be eligible to enter the Monthly Raffle Draw and get a chance to double their Salary when they meet the campaign terms. The maximum payout will be up to AED 30,000 per month.
“Campaign Period” The Campaign period is between 1St July 2025 to 31st December 2025, both days inclusive.
“Currency” AED
“Salary Transfer” Minimum of AED 30,000 credited into the client’s salary account monthly, net of all pre-deductions by the client’s employer, excluding any variable commissions
  1. The offer will be provided only during the Campaign Period between 1St July 2025 to 31st December 2025, both days inclusive.
  2. The offer is available to all New to Bank clients of Standard Chartered Bank UAE, (hereinafter “the Bank”). Clients shall be eligible to enter the raffle draw when they meet the requirements set out in these Terms & Conditions.
  3. New to Bank clients are defined as clients who have not been Priority Banking clients of the Bank within the past 12 months and have opened accounts during the Campaign Period and/or do not hold existing Current and/or Savings Account and/or Term Deposit accounts with the Bank
  4. Eligible Deposit Products include Current and/or Savings Accounts, including Saadiq variants. This excludes MortgageOne Account and SaadiqOne Account.
  5. Campaign Offer: All New to Bank Clients who meet the minimum eligibility criteria of transferring their salary to SCB shall be eligible to enter the Raffle Draw.
  6. One winner will be announced for every month between July and December 2025.
  7. Clients onboarded during the campaign period and have not won the raffle will continue to be added to the eligible list to be considered for the subsequent draws each month.
  8. Timeline for the announcement of the winners is as below:

  1. For more information on the Credit Cards, Mutual Funds, and Insurance Offer for New to Bank Clients refer to additional Terms and Conditions set out in the attached appendices.
  2. In event of closure of any or all the Account(s) prior to the expiry of the Campaign Period; the clients will not be eligible for the campaign offer.
  3. These terms and conditions are supplemental to the Client & Product Terms and Conditions
  4. The Campaign and these terms and conditions may be amended and/or terminated at any time by SCB without prior notice and is not valid in conjunction with any other special promotion or other reward periodical campaign.
  5. The Bank shall not pay late payment charges or additional compensation for any delay in announcement of winners.
  6. The Bank shall not be liable for any delay in announcing the winners and/or prize if such delay is because the client cannot be contacted. Additionally, the bank reserves the right to announce alternate winners in the event a client is non-contactable.
  7. Minor / Guardianship accounts are excluded from the campaign.
  8. Transfer of funds from a client’s spouse, siblings, parents, or children’s accounts into the client’s account via internal transfer, cash withdrawal and deposits or transfers routed through other bank(s) will be excluded from New Funds calculations.
  9. Setup of multiple family accounts will not be eligible under the campaign and will be excluded from the campaign.
  10. The Bank reserves the right to terminate the campaign and to vary or modify any of the terms and conditions herein from time to time. In case of disputes, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding. Further, the Bank reserves the right to cancel or amend the campaign and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any anticipated law or regulation or any other event outside the Bank’s control. Any change to the campaign would be notified as soon as possible by the Bank. In the event of such change or termination, clients agree to relinquish their rights in respect to the campaign and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Bank.
  11. The campaign and these terms and conditions are governed by the Laws of the United Arab Emirates and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.

Appendix 1: Credit Cards Offer Terms and Conditions:

Promotion:

  1. Eligible clients who apply for a Credit Card during the Campaign Period will enjoy preferential rates on Cash on Cards.
  2. Client can avail up to 75% of their available Credit Card Limit as Cash Loan or Cash Finance as early as Day 1 of taking a Credit Card with SCB and pay back over a period of up to 48 months.
  3. Cardholders will be eligible to avail this facility within 180 days from the card opening date.

Eligibility Criteria & New Benefits:

  1. Uniform offer of Cash Loan/Finance on up to 75% of available limit to all NTB Credit Cardholders.
  2. Cardholders can choose fixed instalments plan tenures from 12 to 48 months.
  3. Benefit from the fixed monthly interest rate as low as 0.79% per month.
  4. 0 AED processing fee.
  5. Minimum Cash Loan/Finance amount is AED 3,000.
  6. Funds will be transferred to any listed bank account in the UAE.
  7. No documents or application forms required.

Early settlement charges of 2% or AED 250, whichever is higher applies.

Appendix 2: Mutual Funds Offer Terms and Conditions:

Promotion:

  1. Eligible clients who make new Smart Savings Plan investments during the Campaign Period will enjoy a 50% discount on the setup fee.
  2. A Smart Savings Plan investment can be done via Online Mutual Funds on our Online/Mobile banking platform or through your Relationship Manager.
  3. The minimum investment amount will continue to apply for the respective funds.

General Terms:

  1. The Bank reserves the right to determine at its sole and absolute discretion all matters arising out of or in connection with this Promotion, including eligibility. The Bank’s determination of all matters relating to this Promotion shall be final and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained.
  2. The Bank reserves the right to do any of the following without prior notice or reason: (a) terminate, withdraw, shorten or extend this Promotion at the Bank’s sole discretion, with or without prior notice or reason; and/or (b) vary, modify, add or delete any of these Promotion T&Cs. You understand and agree to be bound by any such variation.
  3. In the event of any inconsistency between these Promotion T&Cs and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to this Promotion, these Promotion T&Cs shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.
  4. These Terms are governed by the laws of United Arab Emirates and parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of United Arab Emirates.
