AI Product Strategy & Adoption

My career has been shaped by curiosity, adaptability, and a belief that meaningful innovation happens when people collaborate across teams. I spent a decade in New Zealand building customer-centric services and digital platforms, from loyalty programmes to peer-to-peer payment systems. I’ve always been passionate about solving real problems and creating experiences that deliver value for clients.

In 2022, I returned to Singapore to set up the first office in Asia for the digital consultancy I was working for at the time. That journey led me to SC Ventures at Standard Chartered, where I evaluated the viability of new business ventures.

Despite not having deep technical skills, I embraced artificial intelligence (AI) as an opportunity to grow. A pivotal moment came when I attended a vibe coding workshop, where I learned how natural language can be used to build sophisticated AI solutions. Inspired by this, I developed a prototype financial crime detection investigation and management platform that consolidated alerts from multiple sources and helped prioritise responses, demonstrating how AI can strengthen risk management and improve operational efficiency.

Today, as Director for AI Product Strategy and Adoption, I focus on navigating both tech implementation and business priorities.

For me, innovation isn’t just about technology – it’s about people. The most impactful solutions come from diverse teams working together, challenging assumptions, and staying focused on client outcomes. The real skill then, is identifying opportunities where AI can create meaningful and lasting value for our clients, colleagues and wider communities.
