To ensure your transfer is processed in a timely and accurate manner, please pay attention to the following details:
- This service is currently available to all Standard Chartered Online Banking customers who have registered for e-payment services at the branch where they opened their account.
- The Payee Account Number and Bank Information refer to those RMB denominated accounts opened with any third-party bank in Mainland China.
- The processing time for Interbank Account Transfers are as follows (according to regulatory requirement, the bank will conduct the review on the transfer. It may cause some delay of the transfer completion time. The actual turnaround time depends on the Beneficiary Bank):
- a. Requests successfully submitted with amount less than or equal to Daily Limit and “priority” is marked with “Normal” status: between 9:00 am and 3:15 pm on normal working day will be processed in the same working day.
- b. Requests successfully submitted with amount less than or equal to Daily Limit and “priority” is marked with “Urgent” status: between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm on normal working day will be processed in the same working day.
- c. “Normal” and “Urgent” transfers successfully submitted outside the processing time above will not be processed until next working day.
- d. Requests successfully submitted with amount less than or equal to Daily Limit and “priority” is marked with “Instant” status: at any time will be processed within 20 seconds.
- e. The expected arrive time depends on the beneficiary banks
- f. Scheduled Transfers that fall on non-processing time will not be processed until the next working day.
- Any incomplete or incorrect information including but not limited to Payee Name, Payee Account Number and Payee Bank Information may result in an unsuccessful transfer; as a result, the associated transfer fee is non-refundable.

- Please ensure your Daily Limit for transfers is set above the Scheduled Transfer Amount to avoid any future transaction failure. If this is not the case, please visit SC online banking “Settings & Preferences” – “Change Funds Transfer Limit” to adjust your Daily Limit Amount. You can also view the daily maximum limit.
