The dialogue that we have with our stakeholders is based upon the topics that are most material to our business. Through a series of one-on-one meetings, roundtables, surveys and industry forums, we maintain regular dialogue with clients, staff, investors, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), governments and regulators to understand the issues that are important to them and the emerging trends across our markets.
We track and assess key long and short-term issues based upon materiality to our business and level of stakeholder concern. The topics most frequently discussed relate to environmental and social risk management, business ethics, financial crime prevention, talent development and eco-efficiency through our own operational footprint and the financing that we provide.
Feedback from stakeholders is shared with the Board and other senior managers within the Bank and we report on our progress each year in our Annual Report and Sustainability Summary.
This process helps inform our business strategy and build trusted relationships in the markets where we operate.
