Standard Chartered Bank Foreign Exchange Campaign Offer: Exclusive Preferential FX Rates – Promotion Terms and Conditions (“Promotion’s T&Cs”).

1.This Standard Chartered Bank Foreign Exchange Campaign Offer: Exclusive Preferential FX Rates (“Promotion”) is available from 01 February 2024 to 30 April 2024, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”). By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Promotion T&Cs.

Eligibility

2. This Promotion is exclusively offered to clients of Standard Chartered Bank UAE (the “Bank”) who will receive this email, and successfully perform Foreign Exchange (“FX”) transactions during the Promotion Period (each an “Eligible Client” and collectively, “Eligible Clients”).

Promotion

3. The Eligible Clients must perform the FX transactions through the Bank’s FX channels to avail the exclusive preferential rates listed below but not limited to:

  • Trade FX (“TFX”)
  • Multi-Currency Account
  •  International transfer or remittance

4. The Promotion applies to currency pairs available on the Bank’s FX platform.

5. Standard FX rates apply post the Promotion Period on FX channels.

6. By utilising our Foreign Exchange Services, you agree to be bound by the Promotion’s T&Cs , as supplemented by and read together with the prevailing terms applicable to your other service(s), or product(s), or account(s) (the “Relevant Terms”) with us. In the event of any inconsistency, these Promotion T&Cs shall prevail over the Relevant Terms.

General Terms

7. The Bank reserves the right to determine at its sole and absolute discretion all matters arising out of or in connection with this Promotion, including eligibility. The Bank’s determination of all matters relating to this Promotion shall be final and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained.

8. The Bank reserves the right to do any of the following without prior notice or reason: (a) terminate, withdraw, shorten or extend this Promotion at the Bank’s sole discretion, with or without prior notice or reason; and/or (b) vary, modify, add or delete any of these Promotion T&Cs. You understand and agree to be bound by any such variation.

9. In the event of any inconsistency between these Promotion T&Cs and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to this Promotion, these Promotion T&Cs shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.

10. These Terms are governed by the laws of United Arab Emirates and parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of United Arab Emirates.
