Standard Chartered Credit Card Cashback Campaign (the “Offer”)

  • This Offer is applicable only to select Standard Chartered Bank UAE Credit Cardholders who have been communicated to directly by the Bank through SMS or e-Mail.
  • This is a limited period offer from 20 November 2022 to 31 January 2023 (both days inclusive).
  • The eligible Cardholders will receive 5% cashback on their Standard Chartered Credit Card capped at AED 500 on all retail spends carried out between 20 November 2022 to 31 January 2023 (both days inclusive). Offer is applicable to Cashback, Manhattan Rewards+, and Saadiq credit cards.
  • The maximum cashback that can be availed by each client is AED 500.
  • To enjoy the cashback, the select Cardholder must spend more than the minimum amount (hereinafter referred as ‘minimum spend requirement’) as defined/specified in the direct/individual communication sent across by the Bank (via e-Mail).
  • If the campaign requirements are met, the cashback will be credited on the primary credit card within 45 calendar days from the campaign end date.
  • The ‘minimum spend requirement’ must be on RETAIL transactions only, which is credit card retail purchases, Point-Of-Sale and online transactions (within or outside the UAE).
  • The following are excluded from eligibility criteria spends at exchange houses, cash withdrawals, Balance Transfers, Fixed Payment Plans, School Fee Cashier Order and Smart Payment Plans
  • Retail purchases/transactions made on the Primary as well as Supplementary Credit Card/s will be included in the calculation of the Minimum Spend Requirement.
  • Cardholders eligible for this campaign will not be eligible for any other campaign offered by Standard Chartered Bank UAE on Credit Cards during the period of this campaign.
  • Cardholders who have cancelled or terminated the credit card for any reason at the time of computation of the eligibility for this campaign, will not be eligible for the cashback.
  • If the Credit Card is overdue, blocked or suspended for any reason whatsoever, then the cashback shall stand forfeited but may be reinstated, at the sole discretion of the Bank.
  • The Bank’s decision on computation and forfeiting of the cashback amount will be final, conclusive and binding to the Cardholder.
  • To the extent of any inconsistency between this Offer terms and the Standard Chartered Client Terms and Credit Card Terms the Standard Chartered Client Terms and Credit Card Terms and Conditions will prevail.

Warning

  • If your credit card account balance goes over the set credit limit at any point in time, your credit card account will be charged an over-limit fee. This fee will be applied on your statement date each month until you are within your credit limit. Please ensure to clear the over-limit amount immediately. (Not applicable to Saadiq)
  • If the minimum payment due is not paid on or before the due date, a late payment charge will be levied on the credit card account in addition to the monthly finance charges (interest). (Not applicable to Saadiq)
  • If you make only the minimum repayment each period, you will pay more in interest/profit/fees, and it will take you longer to pay off your outstanding balance.
  • If you do not meet the repayments on your credit card, your account will go into arrears. This may affect your credit rating, which may limit your ability to access financing in the future.
