With so many choices out there, investing can be complex. Our team of experienced investment specialists, along with your Relationship Manager, will partner with you every step of the way.

Things you should know

System will work 24/7 except for scheduled maintenance every Saturday from 1AM to 2AM (Gulf Standard Time). There is no time restriction on the placement and cancellation of limit orders. However, your active orders will only be monitored for execution during active forex market hours from Monday GST 2:15am to Saturday 1:00am.

Yes. First select the “Orders” icon. Then press “History” where you will be able to view all of your recent transactions. You can also use the search bar at the top for easier browsing.

For market orders, once the order is confirmed successful, you will not be able to cancel the transaction in Trade FX. For limit orders, you may cancel the order any time before Valid Till Date.

There may be several reasons leading to order failure. Please email our Client Care Centre at Customer.connect@sc.com or chat with us via Live Chat at sc.com/ae (operation hours are from Sunday to Thursday, 9am-9pm)

You will be automatically enrolled in the membership program at the green tier.

There are 4 tiers within the membership program, namely, Green, Blue, Silver and Gold, which are determined by the accumulated transaction amount that you gather in your account every half year by doing FX conversion. The higher your membership tier is, the better rates you will receive. For details, please refer to the membership page.

You are automatically entitled to the rewards at your membership tier subject to the specific Terms and Conditions applied.

Trade FX is suitable for individuals and active traders looking to capitalize on currency market opportunities or manage foreign exchange risks.

Trade FX supports a wide range of major and minor currency pairs, providing diverse options for your trading strategies. Easy access to 21 currencies and 162 currency pairs, through Online Banking or via the SC Mobile app.

To start, you need to open a currency account and deposit funds. Once set up, you can begin trading immediately.

Example: if you want to trade AED/USD you need to open a USD currency account.  We request you to contact your Relationship Manager via MyRM or open different currency accounts via the Multi-Currency Account option available on you Online Banking or SC Mobile application.

Tools include technical analysis charts, market news updates, economic indicators, and alerts to support informed trading.

  • This membership program is applicable to individual clients of the bank, namely clients whose account(s) is/areopening in his/her sole name or joint names. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Bank’s employees are excluded from the membership program.
  • Your account will be evaluated every six months based on the amounts transacted to adjust your membership tier so you can enjoy preferential pricing.
  • UAE pegged USD/AED or AED/USD will be excluded from membership tier calculations thresholds.
  • Your membership discount will be visible on next tier when you place your order.
