Empowering girls through sports and education

Girls and young women have a massive economic and leadership potential, if they are given the chance to get the right education. That’s why as a leading international bank, we have made it our mission to give girls in our community the opportunity to be educated and empowered through our global programme – Goal.

Goal is an award-winning development programme created by Standard Chartered which uses sport and life skills education to transform the lives of underprivileged girls between 12-18 years. Through a combination of sports and life skills training, our Goal programme aims to empower and equip girls aged between 12 and 18 with the confidence, knowledge, and skills they need to lead and influence their own futures.

We’ve partnered with Rawafed – our local NGO who will help us to implement the programme at Charities School in the UAE and with the help of Women Win – our Global partner.
