Terms & Conditions

  • This campaign is exclusive to Standard Chartered UAE (the “Bank”) clients who received the promotional materials and perform “eligible transaction(s)” as defined below on Mobile banking platforms between 1st April 2021 and 31st May 2021 (both dates inclusive and hereinafter referred to as the “Offer Period”.
  • Clients meeting the eligibility requirement given below will be eligible to win the guaranteed prizes. If for any reason the bank has insufficient stock, the bank will provide the client with an alternative prize.’
  • Clients will also be eligible to exclusive draw-based prizes subject to meeting the minimum threshold of points earned as indicated in the promotional materials.
  • An “eligible transaction” is defined as follows:
    1. First time log-in on Mobile banking during the Offer Period.
    2. Any utility bill payment made through Mobile Banking amounting to AED 100 or higher (per transaction) towards any of the following:
      1. Etisalat
      2. DU
      3. Salik
      4. Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA)
      5. Sharjah Electricity & Water Authority (SEWA)
      6. Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC)
      7. Al Ain Distribution Company (AADC)
    3. International Fund Transfer made through Mobile banking.
    4. First time submission of “Investment Profile” under Investing tap.
    5. Successful payment through mobile wallet amounting AED 100 or higher per transaction.
    6. Successful application to one of Standard Chartered UAE Credit Cards.
    7. Successful Mutual Funds subscription via the SC Mobile Mutual Fund platform
  • The following transactions shall not be considered for the offer:
    • Unsuccessful or rejected transfer/ payment / transactions or card application.
    • Transfer / Payment transactions executed through channels outside Standard Chartered Mobile & Online Banking
    • Transaction less than AED 100/- (for Bill Payments or Mobile wallet spent)

Winners and Prizes

  • The points will be determined by the number of eligible transactions clients performed during the offer period.
  • Guaranteed Winners: There will be winners at the end of the Offer Period, who will be rewarded with LFC merchandise subject to stock availability and meeting the advertised points thresholds.
  • Draw based prizes: Client who meet the advertised threshold will be eligible to enter a draw to win prizes from Category A or Category B based on the points earned. In the event that these clients do not win the draw, subject to availability, we will distribute LFC merchandise depending on the threshold points that are met.
    1. Category A (Grand Prize): 1 Winner will be rewarded with the main prize consisting of :
      1. 2 return flight tickets to the Manchester Airport,
      2. On ground transfer to the designated accommodation
      3. 3 nights paid stay in designated accommodation. (excluding F&B, Covid test and other expense)
      4. 2 main stand tickets to watch the LFC match in Anfiled
      5. A stadium tour .
    2. Category B (the Prize): There will be a total of 23 winners, 20 winners will be rewarded with virtual session with to the LFC players, 1 winner will be rewarded with signed LFC T-shirt and 2 winners to be rewarded with signed football by LFC player.
  • The draw winners of the offer will be announced on 21st June 2021. the guaranteed prizes will be dispatched for delivery within 10 working days from the day of the announcement.
  • Names of the draw winners will be announced on the Bank’s Facebook page and the winners will also be notified via a recorded telephone call.
  • Only clients who pay with their Standard Chartered bank accounts or credit cards will be eligible to win.
  • Any query or complaint in regards to the campaign and prizes should be stated within 60 days after the expiry of the campaign. Any complaint or query after this time will not be considered valid.

General Terms and Conditions

  • Winners will be determined based on usage of Mobile Banking capabilities specified in the promotional materials.
  • The Prize and the Grand Prize are not exchangeable for cash or any other item.
  • Each Winner will only be eligible to win one Prize within this offer.
  • By participating in this Offer, customers grant the Bank the right to publish the results of the entries (including their names) on our Facebook page (facebook.com/standardchartereduae)
  • If the Bank discovers that a winner is in fact not entitled to participate in the Offer, the Bank may forfeit their Monthly Prize and/or the Grand Prize (or reclaim it if awarded) and award or dispose it as they deemed fit.
  • The Bank shall not be obliged to enter into any correspondence with any client or any other person on any matter concerning the selection of the winners.
  • The Bank may at any time and without prior notice or liability to any client: vary, modify, delete or add to these terms and conditions and may also withdraw or discontinue this offer.
  • In the event of fraud, abuse, and/or an error affecting the proper operation of this offer, the Bank reserves the right to: end or suspend the offer, amend these terms and conditions, and/or declare the notification of winners void.
  • The Bank makes no representation or warranty with respect to the satisfactory quality or performance of the prizes given in this offer.
  • The Bank is not responsible for any loss, damage and/or injury sustained by any winner or any other person arising directly or indirectly from use of any of the prizes.
