Sumeet Bhambri

Sumeet Bhambri is Global Head – Advisory and Managed Investments, Wealth Management at Standard Chartered Bank.

In this global role, Sumeet’s efforts are centred on advancing the investment advisory business and developing innovative and scalable ways to deliver personalised wealth advice to clients to expand advisory-led wealth propositions across the Bank’s footprint. He also focuses on building the Managed Investment business and supporting digital platforms to create seamless and exceptional wealth experience for clients in order to drive business growth. Sumeet has spent significant time building and managing partnerships and alliances to capture unique opportunities to substantially improve client experience in some of the most exciting and dynamic markets in Standard Chartered’s network.

In his seventeen years of career with the Bank, he has held various leadership roles in global and regional capacities across ASEAN & South Asia, Europe, Middle East and Africa, and made significant improvements in returns, grew client base and made great strides in engaging clients effectively. Before joining the Bank, Sumeet worked with ABN Amro Bank and Alliance Capital Asset Management.

Sumeet holds a CFA charter and a Master’s degree in Finance from Delhi University. He is married with two children and enjoys running and playing golf in his spare time.
