Notes

# The maximum liability in respect of Personal Accident shall not exceed the Sum Insured multiplied by the maximum limit of Employees of 10. Also, please refer to the Policy Wording for age limit of insured employees.

** Please note that the selected sum insured for “All Risks (Contents & Stock)” is sufficient to cover Stock value throughout the policy year. In the policy, if the assets are insured for less than their full value, the insured is required to bear a proportion of the loss according to the Average Conditions mentioned in the policy. Please refer to the policy wording for details of the Average Conditions. NOTE: The Average Condition is also applicable to other coverages.

^ Excess / Deductibles for all relevant coverages:

1.

i. HKD3,000 or 10% of the adjusted loss whichever is the greater in respect of each and every water damage claim;

ii. HKD1,200 of each and every loss other than i) above.

2. In respect to each and every claim, the following excess applies:

a) Business Interruption: Time Excess of the first 24 hours each and every loss and up to a maximum of not more than 100 days in aggregated.

b) Failure of Public Utilities: Time Excess of the first 24 hours of failure of supply and up to a maximum of not more than 100 days in aggregate.

i. HKD10,000 or 10% of the adjusted loss whichever is the greater in respect of each and every claim arising from water for any third party Property Damage or third party Personal Injury;

ii. HKD10,000 of each and every adjusted loss other than 3i) above.

4. HKD1,200 of the adjusted loss in respect of each and every claim.

5. HKD2,500 of the adjusted loss in respect of each and every claim.

6. In respect to each and every claim, the following excess applies:

a) Water Tank, Apparatus or Pipe: HKD1,000 or 10% of the adjusted loss whichever is the greater;

b) Earthquake or Volcanic Eruption: HKD750 of the adjusted loss;

c) Hurricane, Cyclone, Typhoon, Windstorm and Flood: HKD1,000 or 10% of the adjusted loss whichever is the greater;

d) Landslip and Subsidence: HKD1,000 or 10% of the adjusted loss whichever is the greater.

Eligibility

1. This policy provides coverage to eligible businesses with no more than 10 employees having annual turnover not more than HKD10,000,000.

2. The total annual earnings of the Insured employees shall not exceed HKD10,000,000 and/ or no more than 10 employees (applicable to Employees’ Compensation Coverage only).

3. The insured premises must be for the purposes of the business and situated in the building which is constructed of concrete, brick, stone, and roofed with concrete, asphalt, tiles, slates composed entirely of incombustible mineral ingredients, unless specially mentioned in the “Policy Schedule”.

General Important Notes

1. It is condition precedent to any liability under this Policy that:

If the “Insured” has taken up a policy with another insurer in respect of the risk insured under this Policy:

a) such policy was not terminated in the last thirty six (36) months from the application date of this Policy due solely or in part to a breach of any premium payment condition by the “Insured” under such policy; or

b) if the “Insured” has declared that it has breached any premium payment condition in respect of such policy in the last thirty six (36) months from the application date of this Policy:

i. the “Insured” has fully paid all outstanding premium for time on risk calculated by the previous insurer based on the customary short period rate in respect of the previous policy; and

ii. a copy of the written confirmation from the previous insurer to this effect is first provided by the “Insured” to the Company before the inception date of this Policy.

2. For the full details of each coverages and respective sub limits, please refer to the Policy Wording.

3. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of any of the above details, the English version shall prevail.

4. Allianz Smart SME Protect is underwritten by Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE (incorporated in the Federal Republic of Germany with limited liabilities) Hong Kong Branch which is a general insurer authorized and regulated by the Insurance Authority of the HKSAR. Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (“SCBHK”) is an insurance agent appointed by Allianz. Key General and Special Exclusions

1. War, Riot and/or Confiscation Risks, Nuclear, Radioactive Contamination, Sonic Bangs, Pollution or Contamination, Electronic Data Management, Intentional Fault, Terrorism, Total Asbestos Exclusion, Mould, Fungi, Spores or Biological Agents, Applicable Law & International Sanctions are not covered by this policy.

2. Furs, fur garments, jewels, jewellery, costume jewellery, watches, pearls, precious and semi-precious stones; exotic Chinese medicines and dried seafood products are excluded.
