Standard Chartered Foundation brings cheer to
500 underprivileged children

KUALA LUMPUR, 3 February 2017 –Standard Chartered Foundation, the charity arm ofStandard Chartered Bank Malaysia recently provided aid to 500 underprivileged children under the Back-to-School initiative. The Foundation donated basic school essentials such as uniforms, bags and stationery to the children from the Dignity for Children Foundation (Dignity).

Twenty volunteers from the Bank gathered at Dignity's auditorium recently to help bundle these items together for distribution to the 500 recipients of these back-to-school items. Staff volunteers also assisted in storing additional items to help ease Dignity's distribution to other underprivileged children.
