Special Relief Facility for SMEs

Special Relief Facility for SMEs effective 6 March to 31 December 2020.

Bank Negara Malaysia has announced the allocation of a RM5 billion Special Relief Facility (SRF) to help alleviate the financial burdens of our SME customers adversely affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Validity Period From 6 March 2020 to 31 December 2020 or exhaustion of the RM5 billion fund whichever is earlier
Types of Loan/ Financing Working Capital
Financing Rate 3.5% p.a.
Guarantee Fee The guarantee fee will be borne by Standard Chartered Bank
Financing Tenure Up to 5.5 years, including a moratorium period of 6 months on both principal and interest payments
Financing amount Up to RM1.0 million per SME
Terms · Available under Term Loan only;
· Guarantee coverage of 80% of the financing amount by Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Berhad (CGC) or Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan (SJPP)
· No collateral required
Eligibility Malaysian SMEs adversely affected by COVID-19 with at least 51% shares held under Malaysians
