Online Banking is a simple, hassle-free and secure internet banking service available to Standard Chartered customers in Pakistan.

You can currently use IBFT to transfer only up to PKR 1,000,000 per day.

Standard Chartered Saadiq credit card is a Shariah – compliant Credit Card, that is interest free. The card operates on the ‘Commodity Murabaha’ concept with profit rate applicable on outstanding balance. Saadiq Credit Card provides worldwide benefits with the convenience comparable to a conventional credit card.

Upon receiving your Saadiq Credit Card, simply call our Customer Services at 111-722-723 from your contact numbers (Office / Residence) registered on our system and get it activated.

The SCB Saadiq Shariah Advisory Committee, an independent committee of qualified scholars of international repute, approves all Saadiq products offered by SCB. The Saadiq liability products are also approved by the Shariah committee. A Shariah ruling (Fatwa) confirming the same can be provided on request. Currently, the members of this committee are:

  • Dr. Sheikh Nizam Yaquby (Chairperson of the Shariah Board)
    Dr. Sheikh Nizam Yaquby (Chairperson of the Shariah Board) currently holds highly respected positions on the Shariah Supervisory Boards for many Islamic institutions in various parts of the world, including the Middle East and Europe. He is also the author of several articles and publications on Islamic finance and other sciences, in English and Arabic. Since 1976, he has taught tafsir, hadith and fiqh in Bahrain. He was educated in the Classical Shariah sciences in his native Bahrain and in Makkah. He holds a PhD in Islamic studies also a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Comparative Religion from McGill University, Montreal, Canada.
  • Mufti Muhammad Abdul Mubeen (Member Shariah Board)
    Mufti Muhammad Abdul Mubeen (Member Shariah Board) has extensive experience in the field of Islamic finance, insurance, and teaching. He is also member Shariah Committee, Standard Chartered Berhad Malaysia and heading the Shariah Department for Group Islamic Banking function of Standard Chartered Bank. He has done his Takhassus fil Ifta from Jamiah Darul-uloom, Karachi and Shahadat ul Alamiyyah from Jamiat ul Uloom-il-Islamiyyah, Allamah Binnori Town, Karachi. He further pursued his modern study and completed his Master in Commercial Law from The University of Melbourne, Australia and LLB (Hons) Shariah & Law from International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan.
  • Dr. Mufti Irshad Ahmad Aijaz (Member Shariah Board)
    Dr. Mufti Irshad Ahmad Aijaz (Member Shariah Board) holds advisory positions at a number of institutions and regularly delivers lectures on Islamic Economics and Finance at different forums and educational institutions, including IBA (Institute of Business Administration), NIBAF (SBP) and CIE (Centre for Islamic Economics – a division of Jamia Darul Uloom, Karachi). He holds Shadat-ul-Aalamia (Masters in Arabic and Islamic Studies) from Jamiatul Uloom Islamiyyah, Binnori Town, Karachi, Takhassus fi al-Iftaa (Specialization in Fatwa) from Jamia Darul Uloom, an MBA (Finance) from Iqra University, Karachi in addition to PhD from University of Karachi
  • Mufti M. Sarfaraz Nihal(Resident Shariah Board Member)
    Mufti M. Sarfaraz Nihal(Resident Shariah Board Member) has over eight years of Islamic Banking experience in the area of Shari’ah Compliance, Shari’ah Audit and Product Development with prestigious institutions such as Bank Al Habib Ltd, Faysal Bank Limited (Barkat Isl.Banking), Albaraka Bank Pakistan Ltd.(formerly Emirates Global Islamic Bank). He possesses both contemporary, conventional as well as religious academic qualifications. He has obtained the Takhassus Fil Fiqh il Islami (Specialization in Islamic Jurisprudence and Fatwa) & Shahadat-ul-Aalamia (Dars-e-Nizami) from Jamia Farooqia & Wifaq Ul Madaris respectively. Additionally, he holds an M.Phil and MSc in Economics from University of Karachi. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Arabic & Islamic Studies from University of Karachi along with the PGD in Islamic Banking & Finance from Centre of Islamic Economics (CIE).
