Standard Chartered Supportive Measures

The Covid-19 pandemic has, no doubt, impacted certain individuals and businesses in Brunei. As such, Standard Chartered is introducing the following relief measures for our clients who seek financial assistance, due to the impact of the virus outbreak.

The following relief measures have been put in place.

Funds Transfers

SERVICES
DESCRIPTION
RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement – BND10) and
ACH (Auto Clearing House – BND2) charges   
Waived until 30th September 2021 when performing funds transfer online for all individual, business and global banking clients.

Credit Cards

SERVICES DESCRIPTION
Card Term Loan                                                        – Latest date of application is on 30th September 2021

– You can apply to convert your credit card outstanding balance into a term loan with a maximum tenor of up to 3 years.

– Applicable for self-employed clients or private sector employees.

– Assessment terms and conditions will apply.

Personal Loan

SERVICES DESCRIPTION
Principal Moratorium or deferment   – You can apply for Principal Moratorium which must end by 30 September 2021

– You will only need to service the interest on your loan as your monthly repayment.

– The principal repayment is postponed/deferred during this period.

Loan Restructuring – You can apply to have your existing loan tenor extended for up to 10 years.
  This will automatically reduce the monthly instalment of your loan.– Assessment terms and conditions will apply

Home Loan

SERVICES DESCRIPTION
Principal Moratorium or deferment – You can apply for Principal Moratorium which must end by 30 September 2021

– You will only need to service the interest on your loan as your monthly repayment.

– The Principal repayment is postponed/deferred during this period.

Business Loans

SERVICES DESCRIPTION
Principal Moratorium or deferment – You can apply for Principal Moratorium which must end by 30 September 2021

– You will only need to service the interest on your loan as your monthly repayment.

– The Principal repayment is postponed/deferred during this period.
