Key Risks and Important Notes

Below are the Key Risks associated with this plan.
  1. This plan is subject to medical and financial underwriting based on the aggregated insured amount of GPP (III) Accumulator and GPP (III) Booster. Depending on the underwriting decision, the Insurance Provider may choose to reject the purchase or ask that I pay a higher premium.
  2. The benefits under this policy are made up of guaranteed and non-guaranteed benefits. The guaranteed benefits will be paid regardless of the future performance of the participating fund managed by the Insurance Provider. Non-guaranteed benefits are in the form of bonuses. Bonuses are not guaranteed and are adjusted depending on the experience of the participating fund managed by the Insurance Provider. Past performance is not an indication of future performance.
  3. Premium rates for Early Critical Protector Life (ECPL) and/or Critical Protector Life (CPL) cover (if i have chosen to add riders to the policy) are not guaranteed and may be adjusted based on future experience and any changes or amendment to the laws and regulations of Brunei Darussalam. Insurance Provider reserves the right to revise the premium rates by giving you a written notice a month prior to any adjustments.
  4. As buying a life insurance policy is a long-term commitment, an early termination of the policy usually involves high costs and the surrender value, if any, that is payable to me may be zero or less than the total premiums paid. This policy will only acquire surrender value after continuous premium payment for 3 years. I should consider carefully before terminating the policy or switching to a new one as there may be disadvantages in doing so.
  5. This policy that I am purchasing is a life insurance plan. It is not a savings account or fixed deposit, nor is it associated with any bank account or fixed deposit. This document does not constitute as a contract of insurance and reference should be made to the respective policy documents for the exact terms and conditions applicable to this life insurance policy.AIA Guaranteed Protect Plus (III)
