Shirish Wadivkar

Global Head of Payments

Shirish leads product management for Payments. In this role he consolidates all payments value propositions across commercial, corporate, currency clearing, Fintech segments for the enterprise.

He is also responsible for the bank’s payment rails, digital currency products, commercial cards, and design and delivery of our new economy offerings (for industry 4.0 clients), across cash management, for Standard Chartered.

Shirish has extensive experience in the last 13 years to deliver value added cash management and payment solutions across institutional, corporate, and individual clients.

He has been with Standard Chartered for 18 years and has worked in emerging markets of India, Middle East, SubSaharan Africa, and Asia. Shirish has 22 years of
experience as a multi-region, multi-product professional.

Creating and nurturing new franchise opportunities through emergent technology and strategic alliances are areas of passion.

He is an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur, India with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
