Getting Started FAQ

  • It’s easy! Go to your Standard Chartered Mobile app and click on it. After you sign in, on the menu to the left there should be a SmartStocks option, click it to start your account creation.

  • You can access SmartStocks on the same click, with the same menu after your account has been created.

  • You can access SmartStocks on the same click, with the same menu after your account has been created.

  • Go to your StandardChartered app and sign in. On the menu to the left there should be a SmartStocks option, click it to start your account creation.

  • A new user would have to go to our branch to open a Standard Chartered account first. After a creation of an account, staff can help you open one or you can proceed to your Standard Chartered app, sign in and on the menu to the left there should be a SmartStocks option, click on it to start your account creation.

  • There is no minimum investment amount for the purchase of Stocks in SmartStocks as the investment amount is dependent on the transacted price and quantity of the Stocks you are buying. However, do note that there is a minimum board lot size for Stocks.
