How do I submit my CV / resume?show/hide

There are two ways you can submit your CV / resume to us - by leaving your details so that we can contact you with suitable opportunities, or by applying for a specific role.  Both options are available at www.standardchartered.com/careers.  To apply for a specific role go to the “Job search” and select a job function and / or location and click Search.  Relevant matches will be displayed.  Alternatively you can submit your CV / resume via our “Leave your details” section after which a member of our Talent Acquisition team will contact you regarding relevant opportunities as they arise.

Can I submit my details without applying for a specific role?show/hide
Yes, you can submit your CV / resume via our "Leave your details" section.  Visit www.standardchartered.com/careers to complete the form and submit your information.  A member of our Talent Acquisition team will contact you with relevant opportunities as they arise.
What format should I submit my CV / resume in?show/hide
The preferred format for submitting your CV / resume and cover letter is .doc or .rtf, with a maximum file size of 200KB.
How do I apply for a role with Standard Chartered?show/hide
To apply for a job with Standard Chartered, you will need to register on our Careers site.  Go to www.standardchartered.com/careers, select the role you are interested in applying for, click Apply Now and then select Register Now.
After I submit my application will I receive a response?show/hide

Once we receive your application we will review your details to determine if your skills and experience are a good fit for the role for which you have applied.  If so, a member of our Talent Acquisition team will contact you to discuss next steps.  Refer to About the hiring process for further information.  If your application is unsuccessful we will keep your details on file in case other suitable opportunities arise.

Why do I need to register on the Standard Chartered Careers site?show/hide

There are many benefits to registering on our Careers site.  You will be able to apply for roles, save and view your applications, set up and save job searches, and upload and save attachments such as your CV / resume and a cover letter.

How do I register to apply for a role?show/hide
Go to www.standardchartered.com/careers, select the role you are interested in applying for, click Apply Now and then select Register Now.
Can I search for similar jobs next time I visit the Careers site?show/hide
The best way to search for similar jobs each time you visit is to register on our Careers site.  In doing so you will be able to set up and save job searches, upload and save attachments such as your CV / resume and a cover letter, and apply for roles that interest you.
What will happen after I apply for a role?show/hide

How often are new roles posted on your Careers site?show/hide
New roles are posted on our Careers site as they become available.  Please check back regularly to find roles that suit your skills and experience.
How do I apply for one of the Graduate programmes?show/hide
To apply for one of our Graduate programmes you should first visit our Graduate site www.standardchartered.com/graduates.  Review the available programmes to select the right one for you, and to understand the entry requirements as these vary depending on the programme you have selected.  When you are ready to apply simply select Apply Now.
How do I apply for the Management Associate Programme?show/hide
To apply for our Management Associate Programme, please visit our Careers site www.standardchartered.com/careers.  Select your school to view relevant information including campus events.
