Our Apprenticeship Programmes gives you the opportunity to start your career in banking while gaining meaningful business experience, professional development and industry exposure from day one. You’ll work as part of a team on real projects and day-to-day business activities, developing practical skills while learning from experienced colleagues across our truly global Bank.

Our UK Apprenticeship Programme gives you the opportunity to start your career in banking straight from school, combining hands-on experience with structured learning and development. From day one, you’ll contribute to meaningful work, learn from experienced colleagues and gain insight into how a global bank operates.
You’ll build professional skills, grow your confidence and make connections across the Bank while gaining valuable experience for your future career.

We provide two entry routes
Markets
We support our clients in managing trading risk, raising capital and diversifying investments. It’s a business about relationships and working closely with clients across our global network. We offer our clients a comprehensive range of products which means there’s lots for you to learn and get involved in.
Banking and Coverage
Our roles within Banking and Coverage provide a comprehensive grounding in corporate and commercial banking. You’ll work directly with a diverse range of business and corporate customers alongside Corporate, Financial Institutions and Commercial Bankers (CIB). You’ll be able to explore how your skills can adapt to different areas of our business and develop new expertise to kick-start your career.
Build your future in global banking
Our India Apprenticeship Programme is designed to help you build technical capability, professional skills and practical business experience within a global bank. Through a combination of structured learning and hands-on experience, you’ll contribute to real work, learn from experienced colleagues and gain insight into how a global organisation operates.
You’ll develop future-ready skills, build confidence and broaden your understanding of banking while gaining practical experience in a global bank. High-performing apprentices may have the opportunity to progress into full-time roles, helping you build strong foundations for a successful career.
UK Apprenticeships
This programme could be a great fit if you’re eager to learn, ready to take ownership and excited by the opportunity to build a career in an international bank. No previous finance experience is needed, just curiosity, ambition and a passion for learning.
