Qiong (Joan) Chen

Joan joined Standard Chartered (China) Limited in May 2017 as Head of Correspondent Banking for China. She was appointed as Regional Head of Correspondent Banking for Greater China and North Asia in April 2018. In this capacity, Joan leads Sales and Client Services teams offering Cash Management and Trade solutions to FI Banks clients in GCNA region.

Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Joan had spent 23 years with Citibank China. Her last role in Citi was the China FI Sales Head in Treasury & Trade Solutions providing cash & trade solutions to both banks and non-bank financial institutions in China. Before being a Correspondent Banker, she worked in different functions at Citi including China CEO Office, Human Resources and Corporate Banking Relationship Management.
