Terms and Conditions of Mileage Conversion Fee Refund
  1. The Mileage Conversion Fee Refund (the "Refund") is applicable to Cardholders ("Cardholders", each a "Cardholder") of Standard Chartered WorldMiles Card (the "Card") who have made any mileage redemption with the Card from 1 September 2016 to 31 October 2017 (both days inclusive) (the "Promotion Period").
  2. Cardholders are required to pay the Mileage Conversion Fee (also known as handling fee for mileage redemption) charged by Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”) within the Promotion Period and the transaction date of such handling fee (the "Transaction Date") as appeared on the credit card monthly statement must be within the Promotion Period.
  3. Cardholders are entitled to a maximum of HK$300 cash rebate as the Refund of the handling fee for every mileage redemption. As of 1 November 2015, the handling fee is HK$300 per transaction.
  4. The Refund will be credited to the respective Card in the form of cash rebate and shown on monthly credit card statement on or before the Last Day of Fulfilment Period pursuant to the relevant Transaction Date as shown below:

  5. Unless otherwise specified, the Refund is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
  6. Cardholders shall notify the Bank within 1 month from the Last Day of Fulfilment Period if they do not receive the Refund after the Last Day of Fulfilment Period; otherwise, the Bank accepts no liability and the cash rebate will be forfeited.
  7. To be eligible for the Refund, the Card account must be valid, non-delinquent and in good financial standing when the Refund is to be credited. Otherwise, the Refund will be forfeited.
  8. The Bank reserves the right to terminate the offer, or vary or modify any of the terms and conditions from time to time. In case of disputes regarding the Refund or these terms and conditions, the decision and transaction records of the Bank shall be final and binding.
  9. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and the Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.
