Registering for the Inbox Notifications feature allows you to view your banking alerts which are not high risk on your Standard Chartered Mobile App instead . They will be stored and saved in an easy-to-manage inbox, so you can be updated with all your alerts anytime, anywhere.
No, it is not compulsory. You may also de-register yourself if you decide not to use it after registration.
If you do not register for Inbox Notifications, you will continue to receive your banking alerts over email or SMS.
If this happens, you will receive the banking alert via email or SMS instead.
No, you will continue to receive email alerts.
There are two ways to register.
1. During installation of SC Mobile App,
• Pop-up to allow notifications comes up. Select Allow
• Accept Terms & Conditions
2. Post-login menu
• Log in to Standard Chartered Mobile App
• Click on the notification icon located on the top right of the screen
• Click on “Turn On” and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your registration
Yes, you will receive an email or SMS alert to confirm your registration.
To delete a single alert, swipe left and click on the red bin icon to delete an alert.
To delete multiple alerts, click on the pencil icon on the top right hand to select multiple alerts to delete. The delete option can be found on the bottom right after selection of alerts.
Standard Chartered Mobile App is supported on Apple iPhones with iOS 14 and above and smartphones with Android 9.0 and above.
*From December 2021 onwards, SC Mobile will no longer be supported on iPhone 6 / 6S devices due to a security enhancement.
Android users are unable to receive inbox notifications via the Standard Chartered Mobile App in Mainland China. You will receive your banking alerts via SMS instead.
On top of Inbox notification, email or SMS alerts will still be sent for transactional alerts for security purposes.
No. For your security reasons, you can are only allowed to register for inbox notifications on one mobile device.
If you’ve lost , simply download the Standard Chartered Mobile App on your new mobile device to register for all these features. This will immediately de-register the Standard Chartered Mobile App from your previous mobile device. Alternatively, you may call our 24-Hour Client Contact Centre at +65 6747 7000 for assistance.
Yes, the second user can log in to Standard Chartered Mobile App on your mobile device. However, the second user will not compromise the security of your phone as they will not be able to register for any features on your mobile device.
You had previously registered for Standard Chartered Mobile Key on another mobile device. To register for Balances or Transactions feature on your current mobile device, you are required to re-register for Standard Chartered Mobile Key on the current mobile device by selecting “Register Now”.
This will immediately de-register the Standard Chartered Mobile Key and all features from your previous mobile device.
