Important Changes to Customer Terms

 

With effect from 4 December 2017, Clause 2 and 5 of our Safe Deposit Locker Licence Agreement (the "SDL Agreement") will be revised.

 

What's new?

 

The following is a summary of the amendments is as follows:

  1. Replacing the existing words "Current or Cheque & Save account" in clause 2 of the SDL Agreement with the words "Current/Cheque/Savings Account".

 

  1. Replacing the existing words "condition 12" in clause 2 of the SDL Agreement with the words "condition 13".

 

  1. Adding the words "or, without prejudice to condition 5, to refuse any person access to the Locker" in clause 2 of the SDL Agreement.

 

  1. The last sentence of clause 5 be amended to read as "The Bank will not be liable for any loss, damage or consequence resulting from the Bank's exercise of its discretion to refuse any person access to the Locker whether pursuant to condition 2 or condition 5."
     

 

When will the changes be effective?

 

The revised terms will apply from 4 December 2017 .
