      Standard Chartered Agoda Promotion 2018 Terms and Conditions

      1. The Standard Chartered Agoda Promotion (the “Promotion”) is available from 1 April 2018 – 31 May 2018 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”). By participating in this Promotion, Eligible Cardholders (as defined in Clause 3(a) below) agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
      2. Under this Promotion, Eligible Cardholders (as defined in Clause 3(a) below) who meet all criteria set out in Clause 3 below and comply with these terms and conditions can enjoy US$30 off with a minimum spend of US$250 (“Gift”) when they receive the Communication (as defined in Clause 3(a) below).
      3. Eligibility criteria:
        1. The Promotion is exclusive to the credit cardholder who has received a SMS (“Communication”) from Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (“Bank”) about this Promotion containing the URL to these terms and conditions (“Eligible Cardholder”).
        2. The Promotion is only applicable if the credit card stated in the Communication sent to the Eligible Cardholders (“Eligible Card”) is used at the specific Agoda landing page, https://agoda.onelink.me/1640755593/6b658167 in this Promotion set out in the Communication received by an Eligible Cardholder.
        3. The Eligible Card account must be validly existing (i.e. must not be suspended, cancelled or terminated), in good standing, and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner at all times during the Promotion Period, as determined by the Bank in its sole and absolute discretion.

      Promotion Mechanics

      1. To redeem the Promotion, the Eligible Cardholder must perform the following:
        1. Click the URL set out in the Communication to be redirected to Agoda app.
        2. The Promotion code will be saved automatically and applicable to rooms with the “Promo eligible” tab on the search page.
        3. To apply the promotion code, click on the “Promotions” tab on the payment page when making your booking.
      2. The Promotion stay period is till 31 May 2019.
      3. Promotion is applicable to hotel room charges only (excluding local taxes, service fees and additional charges).
      4. Promotion is valid for mobile app bookings only via click through link https://agoda.onelink.me/1640755593/6b658167 for purchase on mobile app only.

      General

      1. Unless otherwise stated, the Promotion is not valid with other offers, discounts, rebates, vouchers, privileges or promotions.
      2. The Bank is not responsible for any failure or delay in the transmission of any transaction by any party, including but not limited to Agoda, acquiring merchants, merchant establishments, or any telecommunication provider.
      3. The Bank reserves the right to vary, modify, add or delete any of these terms and conditions, including terminating, shortening, extending or withdrawing the Promotion and/or substituting the Gift with any other item (which may or may not be of equivalent or similar value), without prior notice or reason.
      4. In the event the Bank has determined that an Eligible Cardholder has irregularly or wrongly redeemed any Gift, or where the Bank has knowledge of subsequent events which would mean that the Eligible Cardholder would not have been entitled to redeem the Gift, the Bank reserves the right to claw back the Gift or to deduct the value of the Gift (or such other amount as it deems fit) from the Eligible Cardholder’s account(s) with the Bank.
      5. By participating in the Promotion, Eligible Cardholders consent to the use of their personal data for marketing purposes, including but not limited to the use of their telephone number to contact them about products and promotions offered by the Bank from time to time via telephone, SMS or multimedia messaging. Such consent will supersede any prior choices made by such Eligible Cardholders. Such consent will also prevail even if the Eligible Cardholder in question is registered or subsequently registers his/her contact information with the national Do Not Call Registry.
      6. By participating in the Promotion, Eligible Cardholders also consent to us disclosing their information to persons who are involved in operating or promoting the Promotion and further consent to such persons contacting the Eligible Cardholders for the purposes of marketing the Promotion.
      7. The Bank reserves the right to determine at its sole and absolute discretion the eligibility of a cardholder for the Promotion. The Bank’s decision in all matters arising out of or in connection with the Promotion is final and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained.
      8. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions shall, to the extent of such inconsistency, prevail.
      9. The Promotion is to be read in conjunction with our Customer Terms, Credit Card Terms, the specific Product Terms pertaining to the Eligible Card and any other specific Product Terms that may be relevant in connection with this Promotion (collectively, “Other Terms”). If there are any inconsistencies between these terms and the Other Terms, these terms prevail only to the extent of such inconsistencies.
      10. The Bank makes no warranty or representation as to the quality, merchantability or fitness for services bought and accepts no liability for the services provided by any merchant or service provider. Any dispute about the same must be resolved directly with the merchant or service provider.
      11. The Bank is not an agent of any merchant, service provider or Agoda, or vice versa. Any dispute relating to or arising from the use of the Agoda including, but not limited to disputes with Agoda must be resolved directly with the relevant party (and not with the Bank).
      12. A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
      13. These terms and conditions are governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of these terms and conditions shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
