As access to Google Play Store is restricted in China, we have made the Standard Chartered Mobile App available to download for Android phones through Huawei AppGallery.

Technical Restrictions
PUSH & INBOX NOTIFICATIONS
Google Play Services is not available in your location/supported on this device. Therefore, Inbox Notifications cannot be turned on. You will continue to receive your alerts via SMS.
SC MOBILE KEY
Google Play Services may be required for SC Mobile Key authentication. As this service is not available in your location/supported on this device, you will not receive any push notifications. Open your SC Mobile app to authenticate your login/transactions on Online Banking or any secondary device. You can also generate an Offline PIN.
FAQs
No, you do not have to download this version of SC Mobile app from the Huawei store.
At any one time, Client should only be using one SC Mobile app.
If Client has downloaded SC Mobile from Google Play Store and has no issue using it, there is no action required.
Clients who are based in China will need to change their Country/Region selection to “Singapore” in Huawei AppGallery.
This can be done in the profile “Me” tab, do ensure that Client already has a valid Huawei ID.
Clients can then proceed to install the app by searching for “SC Mobile Singapore”.
SC Mobile Key will continue to work on the mobile device that is registered with the digital token.
For Online Banking and any other secondary device, users are required to generate an ‘Offline PIN’ on the registered mobile device in order to authenticate any login or high risk transactions
Alternatively, users can manually launch the SC Mobile app to authenticate their login & transactions.
Google Play Services is required for any in-app/push notifications approval via SC Mobile. As Google Play Services may not be available in your current location/supported on this device, you are required to “Generate an Offline PIN” or manually launch the app in order to authenticate on Online Banking or any secondary device.
