  • Push Notifications on the SC Mobile app are designed as an added security function to alert you to your banking activities. To turn these notifications on, please go to your device’s Settings > SC Mobile > Notifications and select to have it turned on.

    Note: Please visit sc.com/sg/sr/ccdis if the transaction is not recognised.

  • No, this feature is automatically enabled for all Standard Chartered Bank credit and debit cards. Please go to your device’s Settings > SC Mobile > Notifications to turn on notifications for SC Mobile.

  • No, this service is free.

  • It is at the discretion of the merchant and Standard Chartered Bank to require a SMS One-Time Password (OTP) or approval via push notification for online transactions.

    • If you have activated the SC Mobile Key on your SC Mobile app, you will receive a push notification for every eligible transaction.
    • Otherwise, you will receive a SMS OTP sent instantly to the registered mobile number in the Bank’s records instead.
